Best bulbs for my living room
I love these bulbs. I'm very sensitive and very picky about what bulbs I can tolerate. If they flicker I will get nausea and a headache. I tried about 6 different types of bulbs in my living room, and these are the only ones I've been able to tolerate. The color is perfect, not too yellow or unnatural looking. They work perfectly with my dimmer too. I keep them at about 40% brightness and there's no flickering at all. Believe me, I would notice if there were, because I'm so sensitive.

Dimmable, but not very
Let me start by saying these suckers are BRIGHT. Like, really bright. I tried them in my bedroom and replaced them with 40W equivalents because they were too bright. I bought this to pair with my Lumary L-DS100 dimmable smart switch in my bedroom. The switch is listed as being LED compatible and dims other LEDs without issue. I can dim them to about 60% before they start to flicker. I'll dim them to that level and the light will be fine for about 10 seconds, then they start to flicker pretty bad. If I go to the lowest dimming level then they turn off completely.Part of the issue may be my switch, however I have tried two other brands of bulbs and they dim through the full range. All of the bulbs I have tried do flicker slightly at the lowest level, so I keep them at around 50%.I put some Feit 40W equivalent 3000k dimmable LEDs instead and they work great. The Feit bulbs are heavier and feel more solid. I picked up a 4 pack at my local hardware store for $12.99, so they were a great value. I will hold onto these Luxrite bulbs and use them elsewhere in my house though as I need bulbs for my hallway.Overall, they're fine bulbs and very bright. They just don't dim very well, which is exactly why I bought them in the first place.

Works great in dimmable light fixture, but perhaps a bit too cool
I replaced four incandescent light bulbs in an overhead light fixture with these 4000K LEDs. I am using a Lutron dimmer switch and have absolutely no problem whatsoever. I did have to remove the faceplate from the dimmer switch and adjust the dimmer setting, as it was set to work with my previous light bulbs. For anyone thinking the bulbs are the problem, remove the faceplate on your dimmer switch and look for a small switch or knob that is used to adjust the level of brightness at the lowest setting. Set it so that at the lowest setting you have at least a tiny bit of light. When you do that, you will find that you have the full range of brightness, from very dim to fully bright. As for the temperature, I am finding that the 4000K from this brand seems a little more bluish than the 4000K bulbs I have from another brand. I would think they would all match, regardless of brand, but that doesn't seem to be the case here. That being said, you might want to consider trying different 4000K bulbs, or perhaps even different lumens (usually given as a wattage equivalent) to find out which best suits your application. I am finding that switching out bulbs in different fixtures throughout the house is giving me a good idea of what I need where. These bulbs are a great value for the price, but I can't say anything about longevity, as I have not been using them for very long. They are much lighter weight than other LEDs I have purchased. I do not know why, or if that impacts the quality or not.
