Certainly beats the tuning wrench that came with my harp!
I own a Harpsicle harp, which uses zither pins to hold the strings. The tuning wrench that came with my harp is the L-shaped kind with a square opening to hold each pin. I was sort of surprised to find the that wrench was capable of marring the pins if I was not very careful when tuning. This seems to be partly from the sloppy grip of the wrench on the pin and - in full disclosure - partly my inexperience at tuning a harp (I didn't know my own strength). Also, coming from a guitar background, I was disappointed in a wrench that could only attach to a pin at 90 degree intervals. Toward the top of the harp, I found my hand (and wrench) in my face, which does tend to make tuning a bit difficult. What I wanted was a wrench that could attach to the pin at many angles as well as provide a more accurate grip on the pin during tuning. This wrench satisfies both of these needs completely. The star opening works very well. I can attach at 8 angles instead of 4 and - since the wrench is a T instead of an L - even tuning the top strings of my harp is fairly simple. I also feel that a T wrench provides more fine control over the pin. This may be completely psychological, but using a strobe tuner feels easier. The L wrench seemed to move a pin too much in one direction whereas the T wrench feels like it can move the pin less and get in tune more accurately. One final note is that this wrench just plain feels better in the hand. The L wrench hurt my hand a little, but this T wrench does not. I am more careful now about making sure the wrench seats completely on the pin before applying any pressure, and all of the above together makes for a very good experience at tuning now. I recommend this wrench for a lever harp - particularly the Harpsicle.

Great purchase
I ordered this T-bar tuning wrench when the L-shaped wrench I use to tune my autoharp broke. I’d had it 60 years. However, I’m really glad I bought this T-shaped one. It’s much easier to make “micro movements”. I highly recommend it.

Perfect for tuning my lap harp!
Just received this, and it's exactly what I wanted! I just purchased a lap harp, which came with a tuning rod. The salesperson a the shop used a tuning lever, which she said she could manipulate better. She was right! I only need to adjust a millimeter at a time, and this lever allows me to make adjustments as great or as small as needed. The opening fits the tuning pins perfectly. It feels sturdy, and I didn't feel like it was going to snap in my hand (I can be rough on tools). A total win!!

Nice little item and well made
Works great for anyone brave enough to tune their own piano, I use it for my ducimer. Which I play to summon Kragnor the sumarian god of longevity. We hang for a bit and then I send him on his way back into the depths of the universe. But using this tuner has made the whole process easier! So Thanks!

Fits Russian lap harp
I was able to tune my 1980s soviet children's lap hard with it very easily. The knobs are super sensitive but the tuner offers very good control.

Wrong color
It does the job, but I spent extra for the dark walnut color. There were other sellers with the light colour one for cheaper. I'm disappointed that it didn't match the description.

T-handle eases string tensioning
Used on hammer dulcimer. T handle is easy to use, allowing fine tuning of the instrument.
