It is not mild, however not real hot. It has the flavor of spring jalapeños. My 16 year old granddaughter doesn't like anything else. Thank goodness it has a long self life, cause when I find it I buy 6 - 10 bottles. It is often hard to find. Hope this helps you, my opinion only.

Q: Is this the same as the jalapeno salsa that comes in the can?

It’s a sauce. Not a salsa. It’s jalapeño flavored hot sauce. It’s not thin in consistency but it’s not thick or chunky either. I add it to almost all my food! Love this stuff! Just enough flavor and not to hot but enough that your tongue will buzz. Enjoy!!
