Love it and got another for a friend! Squeezed lots of limes for fresh margarita’s!

This press is quite small. However it is very adorable and looks great on our cocktail shelf. If you’re looking for a small decorative press that you intend to use infrequently, this one is a great purchase. It is quite sturdy and easy to clean… If it was larger it would be perfect.

You know what they say, you have to squeeze a few lemons before you find your prince.For a decade I had a yellow lemon squeezer that disintegrated as the paint and even the cheap Chinese pot metal underneath deteriorated. For that reason, I was looking for something in stainless steel that would hopefully hold up a little better over the years. So I chose the Cucisina Stainless Steel Copper Colored Lemon Squeezer.So far it has performed as expected. The size, shape, and ease of cleaning has been just right for me. My only concern, and the reason it is missing a 5th star, is that the hinge is a little flimsy, and I question whether or not it will hold up over the long run. That "strong and durable joint" in the listing has a little more play over just two months than I would have expected. Will revise my listing if it falls apart.

I have used some juicers in the past, and they just crack, this one seems heavy duty and has held up to the amount of juicing I do, which is quite a bit. I really like it a lot and I hope it doesn’t disappoint.

My electric citrus juicer got lost in the shuffle of a move and I couldn't justify the expense of a new one for the few times I needed it. Recently friends from Florida visited me in Atlanta and brought a huge bag of little key limes, ingredient of my favorite dessert, bar none: Key Lime Pie. This squeezer got me threw a huge bag of the tiny limes but at the end of it all, I was surprised to feel no discomfort in my hands. The long handles allowed for a better use of energy. (Look up "fulcrum" for the reasons why.) TIP: if you place the curved side of the halved lemon or lime UP rather than having it conform to the shape of the press, your squeeze turns the half lime inside out, allowing more juice to escape. After that, I added a second half lime to the recently squeezed one and the extra pressure helped to completely squeeze out all of the juice from the first. I had so many limes, the trial and error paid off in that discovery early in the process.
