Great, durable rod.
Fantastic, durable rod. I spent time traveling in New Zealand and Fiji. This rod caught me all sizes of fish without any issues. Its sturdy and compact. I would suggest this rod to any surf casting fisherman. The action is pretty heavy due to the 6 pieces. But it flings bait with no problem.

Excellent Travel Rods
These are excellent travel rods. I purchased 3 of the 12 foot models and 2 of the 13 foot models which they no longer sale in the US. You actually can still purchase the 12 foot travel rods from the Jansen store in Cabo. You won’t be disappointed
