I bought this to keep my 2 year old from writing on walls and doors. It turned out to be such a great teaching tool and my kid LOVES it.

Much more detailed lines then the cheaper ones.

I bought two of these devices to communicate more fully with my mother who has Alzheimer's and who is also 95% deaf without her hearing aids. With her aids, maybe 50% deaf. Communicating in loud environments verbally is very challenging, so we started with paper and pen. This device is fun and useful for helping us to communicate in loud settings and in setting where "quiet" is preferred for others, too! Great for assisted living facilities, in my opinion. Keep them inexpensive and useful and easy to use!!

I bought this for my 4 year old for Christmas and she LOVES it. Not only her but her two older siblings play with it all the time too! So I got more for them as well. They do all kinds of things with it including taking it in the car on long trips. Without knowing it my mom also bought a similar tablet from a different brand for her the same Christmas I got this one, and that tablet stopped working soon after Christmas. This particular tablet is extremely durable and long lasting. We've now had it for a year and I have yet to replace the battery and it still works as well as it did when we first got it. Great purchase and as I already said, I did buy it again!

My kids love these and have been using them often. The erase button works great and it is easy to use. I did notice if you push too hard it will scratch and leave an indent on the screen.

*update*Wanted to update because I also ordered the dark blue 10" pad for my other son and it just arrived today. It arrived just as described and I am impressed with it! Would give this product 5 stars as it is durable and works wonderfully. I'm certain the other product I received was a packaging mistake. I am in the process of returning and re-ordering that one and hopefully will receive the correct item this time!I ordered the 10" red writing pad. After much research I settled on this one for my 3 year old because the reviews were great and it looked much more sturdy and thick than the others I had seen. When it arrived, it was light blue, which wasn't a huge deal, but it was also an entirely different product. The back is not solid and sturdy as the original product described that I had ordered. It is very flimsy and not fit for toddler play. Also 12" and not 10".Some reviews also mentioned that it included a protective case and cord to attach the stylus. That was not the case with the product I received. Again, not a make or break deal and I'm not one to be nitpicky about little things, but when I pay $20 for a good quality product after spending hours searching and deciding, I expect to receive what I paid for.

This was a great gift for my great-granddaughter for achieving student of the month in school .
