Don’t hesitate, just get it!
First of all a good nights sleep is priceless! Thank goodness someone finally made something like this. No more worrying about blackout curtains, or the baby “seeing” us when sharing a room. I have used this is two separate locations Camping! This is great for tent or RV camping. It keeps the morning light out, and paired with white noise let our son sleep allllll night, and he took his reg 2.5hr nap. Now our son is 15mo, and has been sleep trained so he already has a very consistent routine, but this let us stay out by the campfire, and chat with friends while he snoozed away in the tent until we joined him later. Hotel! This works great in a hotel, and let’s us share a room while traveling without interruption of sleep. Def rec 100x over! Great product, good quality, and easy to use! Only thing to note is dress your child appropriately if it’s hot out. We did use this once when it was hot, but we did a very light muslin sleep sack and diaper on. Nothing else. Update son is now 2, still loving this product. It’s saved us when traveling so many times. He loves his “tent”

Worth every penny!
I usually don't bother leaving reviews for products but this was such a great purchase I had to share. I was having trouble getting my 5 month old to sleep anywhere but at home because he was so used to sleeping in a dim/dark room. I did a quick web search to see if there was some sort of a breathable cover for his pack and play when we're on the go and found this. I delayed buying it because I thought the price was a little high but finally took the leap when I realized I'm going to need something to darken his sleeping environment while on vacation. I'm so glad I made the investment in this canopy! He took one or two times to adjust to napping with this cover on while we were at my mom's house but by the 3rd time, he fell asleep relatively quickly and slept really well! I also like the way the zipper is placed because I can sneak in his video baby monitor and shut the zipper all the way to keep an eye on him. I made a little contraption with a wire hanger to hang the monitor in the corner completely out of his reach. Pros: easy to use, easy to pack up in bag and bring on the go, provides dim and breathable environment (unlike blankets) Cons: really only "con" is that is it a little on the loose side but it doesn't hang low enough to get near the baby I recommend getting this if you find you're having trouble getting baby to sleep out of house! I'm looking forward to using it while camping too!

Awesome
Love the snoozeshade. We keep it in the car so that when are at grandma's and need to take a nap, I always have it. It fits easily over the play pen and keeps it dark but is still breathable. Because of this product I am able to recreate enough of her environment when we are on the go and she sleeps great. Couple pro tips: When putting it away, make sure you connect the velcro straps together all the way. Otherwise the velcro will snag on the fabric. Second tip- if you are traveling and have a video baby monitor you want to use, you can zip it into the top flap and then angle it so you can still see your baby. (So the camera will be inside the snoozeshade and the base/camera stand is on the outside of the snooze shade and the zipper is zipped up in between the camera and the base to keep it in place.) I'll try to get a picture next time I use it and then add it to this review. Conclusion, love it. It's compact, easy to use and effective

Pretty impressed!
I was unsure how this product would work considering the conflicting reviews. I wasn’t expecting it to be a full blackout, because without being completely opaque, how could it be? (Especially with overhead lights on like some of these reviews show). We had some pretty pathetic shades in our air bnb, but we just put the travel crib in the most shaded corner of the room, turned off all the lights and I felt like it was pretty dang dark in there. Blocked most the light and I swear my son slept better in there then he does at home, LOL. I think it also helps muffle some of the outside sound. I also didn’t notice it being too warm in there, like a lot of these reviews say. I think not having any lights on and shades drawn help it not get too warm. It is dark fabric after all and a lot of direct light would get it warm regardless of air flow. I think the only thing that I would suggest to improve is that the zipper is kind of loud. I wish it was a quieter attachment method. Buttons? Velcro? Not sure there’s really a better solution, but I just noticed it was loud and kind of woke him up a little when closing the opening. Overall I felt like this was a good quality product, easy to set up and worth the money for some good naps and over night sleep!

Pretty Darn Impressive!
We just used this on our 5-day Disneyland trip. It says it blocks out 94% of the light but idk, it seemed lighter than that in there but seriously do not let that deter you from getting this; even if your baby needs it pitched black you seriously need to try this. For reference, we used this with a 16month old baby who NEEDS pitch black dark. We used a lot of suggestions from the “taking Cara babies” program and she’s had her own sleeping space with it very dark since 5 months old. Since 12 months old she has had her own bedroom and honestly needs it dark/very quiet with a sound machine to sleep. But she is naturally a very good sleeper. With this amazing invention she slept right next to all of us still talking (in whispers) and making noise. We also would keep a couple small lights on. I didn’t even think this would work well which is why I bought this one over the more expensive crib cover contraption….but I would buy this one again and again. I was also very worried about it being too stuffy. Our baby has asthmatic tendencies and some small breathing issues so I was worried about the stuffiness. We kept it a little cooler and didn’t dress her as warm, but honestly it wasn’t stuffy AT ALL. Super breathable. Seriously love this and highly recommend! She slept through the night without a single problem in our hotel room all week because of this.

I bought this to use when taking my toddler camping. I wanted them to be able to have daytime naps in the tent (which would be bright). This worked perfectly. Its compact and light, breathable and blocks out all the surrounding light. We ended up using it multiple times, not just for camping, but for other travel too where we weren't sure how light/dark the room was going to be.

It was our first time traveling with our 1.5 year old son. It worked really well with this gadget, staying in the same room at the hotel and I’m very happy for the purchase.

After a week long trip sharing a room with our 9 month old and desperately trying to make the room as dark as possible, I caved and bought the snoozeshade. Although it's not "blackout" (I suppose you can't have a blackout cover that's also breathable) it can get pretty close. If the room is already somewhat dark, the snoozeshade really gets you pretty darn close to blackout inside the pack n play. It also keeps the baby from being able to really see out, so less distractions if they're not in a private space. It also works great in the car! My baby has never slept in the car no matter what I try, and I've successfully gotten her to nap in the car while traveling, by draping the snoozeshade over her bucket seat. If your baby sleeps in blackout conditions, don't waste your money on cheaper versions of this cover. If you only ever use it a few times, it's worth the money for the snoozeshad.

Really happy with this product. Our little guy slept great in it. Really helped reduce light and distractions. We were a family of 4 staying in a hotel for a week (2 adults, 3yr old and 1yr old). Not sure we would all have slept as well without this. Used it on both a travel cot and a mini crib/cot and even though it was a stretch to fit on mini crib it still worked! Easy to use/fold and travel with in its pouch. Velcro seems good. Zipper pocket where you place baby in - I thought it would be small/difficult to lower a sleeping baby in but it wasn’t. The zip to close it was surprisingly quiet and didn’t wake our little one!

This is probably the most used product I used the first year of my babies life. LIFE SAVER . She slept like a dream in this everywhere- car , pack and play- and her mini crib. Super breathable and SO HANDY
