Doesn't work with Samsung Galaxy Note 4 and Tab S
This one probably has a 5 pin connector, while Samsung Galaxy Note 4 and Tab S require 11 pin. Some kits are sold with a 5-to-11 pin adaptor, but this one doesn't include one. Returned for refund.I bought another kit with an additional 11 pin adaptor, and it worked!Note that these older phones/tablets receive just a very small charging current through HDMI converters, run hot and discharge their battery fast. So, please limit your expectations and probably wait for an upgrade to the next generation of phones like Samsung Galaxy Note 9, which charge, use cable internet and run DEX desktop through a wired hub.

I had to return this item only because my A5 2016 is not supporting it. Good quality item. I had no difficulty returning it.

Doesn't work.
Does not work. No instructions. Tried every type of lead and port combo. Even tried different HDMI leads. It says it does all those Samsung phones but my Note 4 did absolutely nothing. I'll bet if I pulled it apart, there aren't even any wires in it.

Good for the rubbish bin port, not hdmi port
Absolute rubbish.Dose not work with note 3 or galaxy s5 which has mhl compatibility.
