Informative and Helpful!
I bought this book for my wellness program and enjoyed some of the chapters since they contain useful tips. I learn a few things about coaching and also enjoy how the holistic approaches that author is using in the book.

Good read, possibly better options. E-book?
Most reviews seem to be by true fans of the book and the author. The book is interesting but not great. Cheaply produced and low cost illustrations are used throughout. Much space is taken by anecdotal stories told by students of the author. Very expensive for the production quality. Book is the basis for classes marketed by the author. While some information is unique and valuable, a great deal is taken from others and just re-presented here. The author's PHD is in religion. Nothing wrong there, just interesting considering some of the decidedly metaphysical content. Again, A good read, just not a 5 star. Perhaps an update would help. No E-book available.

Easy yet deep
There are many fine coaching books out now, and the strength of this one is Linda Bark’s warm and personable approach, reflected in the transcripts of her coaching sessions as well as her writing style. As an alumni of Linda’s program, I admit I am biased in favor of loving this book - and I do! It is a treasure chest of fun and easy coaching techniques that work, plus Linda's personal experiences as a pioneer holistic nurse and coach. Any coach, seasoned or new, could benefit from her whole person/integral approach, and although the book is easy to read, it goes deep and provides readers with insights that can benefit their personal as well as professional journeys. Her clear exploration of philosopher Jean Gebser’s obscure but fascinating Structures of Consciousness framework makes this worth reading even for people who are not coaches.
