This is another little item of tech that I didn't really need but really caught my eye. I got it on a whim but it's proven to be really quite cool. The package is the now-standard brown cardboard box with a line image on it and inside is the light, a 100cm micro USB cable (to add to the 1000s I already seem to have), the user manual, a hook and eye cable tidy (I can always find a use for those) and a note from TechRise. I didn't read the manual but immediately put the unit on to charge and left it overnight.I used it the next day as I needed to change a brake light bulb in my car and fit was getting a bit dark by the time I got a chance to do it. I usually use a headlamp but thought I'd give this a go. The unit is quite robust and feels well made. I put it around my neck and set the 'arms' to give me a decent field of illumination (one slightly higher than the other) and the effect was very good. I got a decent amount of light. Not too much (which would have been a pain with so much chrome and reflective metal around) but more than enough to help with the task. The whole thing is hands-free too and didn't slip or move noticeably as I worked. It was only a 5 minute job but the lights really helped.I'm happy with my purchase and would recommend this kit if you can think of a use for it. I'm now thinking it will be really useful when I'm hunting for tools and things in shady corners of my shed.

I originally bought this to use for bedtime reading and it certainly ticks that box. No need to find somewhere to clip a light (which was my issue) and the lights can be pointed such that they will not disturb your bed partner - the brightness can be adjusted too. For me, one side turned on to the lowest setting was fine for reading. The added bonus of this light was for helping with close focus DIY stuff. I am working my way through the house trying to install WiFi relays onto lighting circuits and this was great when working in low-light areas to help see what you're doing. I am considering buying another one so have one by the bed and one in my electrics toolbox!! Recommended.

I really like it, and I use and abuse it buth when I amin bed and during flights (I fly very often).I have to say when I sleep I have to adjust its position quite often as I sink in the pillow itself, but is nothing more than an annoyance

I wanted a light like this for reading in bed, as reading with a harsher lamp keeps me more awake rather than making me sleepy which rather defeats the object. This wee necklight just does the trick and not only that it comes with a wee charger wire too! Not a great long one but enough to get it charged up before bedtime. I would certainly recommend it.

This was purchased to start reading at night without the bedroom light or the lamp being turned on.This is very comfortable to use and can forget it is on your neck. It is flexible so it can be used by anyone, from children to adults.Both sides have their own individual buttons:Pressing the button once turns on the left LED on that side.Pressing the button twice turns off the left but turns on the right LED.Pressing the button three times turns both the LED's on.No batteries required and charges using a micro-usb cable, the port can be found on the plastic part where it rests on the neck.

This has got to be one of the strangest torches I have used, but I really like it.There are many times when I need to have some illumination hands free, so a standard torch would be the first thing I go for. However, the head torches dont provide a particularly stable position of light, flicking around as you pan your head round.This light is different, looping behind the neck and over the shoulders so the position is more constant and not dependent on where you place your head. I have found this light useful for typing in the dark, making notes at night and extra illumination when I was working on some of my maker projects.All in all, I am happy to recommend this ver unusual light and it is going to have a home at the side of my desk for all the times I need that bit of extra light.

Ich habe die Leselampe versehentlich über einem brennenden Teelicht abgelegt, und das nicht bemerkt, bis die kleine Kerze auf einmal unverhältnismäßig hell zu brennen begann. Stellte sich heraus, es war nicht die Kerze, sondern ein Ende der Lampe, das fröhlich Feuer gefangen hatte und echt gut, aber sehr dezent (ohne schwarzen Rauch oder nennenswerten giftigen Kunststoffgeruch) brannte.Und, oh Wunder, die Lampe, und sogar das völlig verschmorte Ende funktionieren tatsächlich immer noch. Das Licht hat nun sogar einen angenehm warmen, gelblichen Ton (der reicht aber zum lesen nicht mehr aus :-)Fazit:+ leuchtet gut+ brennt gut+ stinkt und qualmt nicht dabei (besteht anscheinend wirklich aus nicht giftigem Material)

cercavo una lampada per leggere di notte, visto che da quando sono mamma passo parecchie notti sveglia, e volevo qualcosa di modulabile di intensità, pratico e comodo e che non svegliasse troppo il mio bimno: in questo prodotto ho trovato tutte le caratteristiche, è flessibile e si adatta alla posizione, posso regolare l'intensità della luce grazie ai 4 interruttori. Utilissimo e pratico! Penso lo userò anche in campeggio quest'estate
