Great for those with Dementia/Alzheimer’s
Love these cards! I work in hospice and I use these to help to promote cognitive stimulation and evoke positive memories and life review in my patients. It has enhanced interactions tremendously!

A wonderful way to engage with someone struggling with memory issues.
I purchased these to use with my mother and they are a wonderful way to draw someone into conversation. Mom is probably stage 5 Alzheimer's, (she was assessed at 6 but had been ill right before the assessment and I think they misjudged), she is also very low vision. I explained the "game" to her. She listened carefully, looked at the picture and was able to read the word on the first card, then I started reading the questions to her and she was hesitant with her first response, but when she realized she knew the answer she immediately engaged! We spent and fun hour going through about 7-8 cards. The questions function as prompts to initiate conversations that you build on their and your own answer. She was absolutely sparkling by the time we decided to quit for the day and do more tomorrow. She has also been very happy and upbeat the rest of the evening. I was an enjoyable occupation for both of us! Can't wait until tomorrow.

Keeps Conversations Interesting!
My 85-year-old mom has mild cognitive impairment (short term memory is gone), and our conversations are shallow as compared to days past. She loves playing the “game,” and we take turns picking cards and “interviewing” each other. The questions trigger memories from her childhood which makes her happy, and is interesting for me. Lettering is large so she can read. Cards are high quality and sturdy, which somewhat justifies the high cost.

Great to have for activities for people with dementia.
Great to have for activities for people with dementia. It keeps their mind working and working better. Have been using these and other products and have had very good results. We had a speech therapist come in for my mom to learn to help her and these type of activities help to rewire the brain. Memories are there just hard for them to get to. These exercises help with that. My only complaint is the name of the item should not have been on the front with the item. But i fixed up a card that fits exactly to cover the names so it worked out in the end.

Great product! Familiar items to recognize for my mom!
I ordered these for my mom who had 2 strokes in January 2019. She has come so far from then! These were the next steps in relearning how to talk (the first stroke was in the speech part of her brain). She is trying so hard to learn to talk again and the cards are very engaging for the speech therapist with the questions/facts about each item on the back. I am learning something new everyday!

Helpful in triggering memory &conversations
If you have a friend or family member with dementia (or other mental disability) these cards work great to help them remember things & start talking.

They work!
Immediately engaging despite a non-willing participant. As soon as the card is exposed, his instincts kick in and he engages in discussion. I wish there were more in the deck. Good quality.
