Didn't hold up
I loved the whimsical design of a pink flamingo. Sadly, it didn't hold up. After about 3 months in the pool, the thermometer came loose inside and couldn't be tapped back into position. It was impossible to read. Although inexpensive, it was not worth the money. Too bad.

Was going to get the typical ducky and then saw this. So cute and the color pops in the pool!

Looks so cute in my pond!
I needed a cute thermometer for my pond and ran across this little guy.I really like the way it looks, it is well made and the outside is easy to clean.The downside if that there is no way to open it up so I can clean the inside easily when there is algae buildup, so I just soak it for a few days in warm soapy water.

Lasted barely a year. (FL)
The color faded within 6mo from... Bright Flamingo pink to a dull shade of pinkish. That bummed us out, but it's Florida, we're all fading down here. 🤪 It also broke, became dislodged from the center and by mo 14, couldn't even read the temp. Spend a little more and get a better one. That what I'm doing as soon as I push 'submit review'.

It's smaller than pictured online-deceiving size but good for the price.

I wish the numbers were larger.
I like that I can easily spot this pool thermometer anywhere on the pool surface being that it has a pink flamingo on top and I have a custom black bottom pool.It would help if the numbers were larger to read for older eyes.

Hard to read
This is a cute thermometer with a large digital display of the numbers, however the mercury line is very narrow and difficult to see for those folks that use reading glasses. It takes a lot of twisting and turning of the thermometer to see the blue line to get your reading. It also registers about 4 degrees higher than what my pool pump equippment reads as the water temperature. Not sure which one is accurate/inaccurate. I wouldn't recommend this product just because of the difficulty reading the mercury line.
