Visits to the Most Holy Sacrament and the Blessed Virgin Mary

I found my prayer routine at adoration becoming stale. I don't even know how I came across this ( well, yes I do), but it has improved my holy hour immensely . Small book, easy to carry, with instruction on preparation for the hour of adoration in the beginning, and then thirty days' worth of reflections following . The introduction can be read many times and offer a new insight each time. I bought the kindle version, too.

Reading this book takes me straight to the arms of Jesus and Mary. I love to start my day with these books. Brings such peace to my soul. I love to read this at my HOLY HOUR!! I could stay with our Blessed Lord 24/7

I have had a devotion to the Blessed Virgin Mary for most of my life. She is even more important to me as I have a prayer group for St. Joseph in which she is asked to take her part. St Alphonsus and some of the saints and writers of that era have some very indepth discussion and thoughts on Our Lady. My rating is given because I really liked what I read.

St Alphonso tends to be a bit verbose in the Italianate manner (what a surprise - an Italian lawyer, writing like that!) but these devotional essays are well to the purpose for encouraging meditation on the Eucharist.

I loved this book. Anything by St. Alphonsus is worth reading every word. I also like the life of Christ and His Blessed Mother. I will let you know as soon as I finish it.

Through our Beloved Mother Mary all things are possible with her intervention and her grace with our love and remorseful soul can be saved. All we need is to Love the Mother Mary and her Son our Lord and Saviour. Honor they most Holy Mother and she'll stay with us to we cross that bridge when we enter Heaven!!

Great insight from St. Alphonsus! It's as relevant today as it was in his day when he penned it. Excellent!

Saint Alphonsus liguori lived only to love Jesus and Mary. To adore Jesus in the most holy sacrament of the altar without ceasing is most to our benefit.

During a visitation to the Blessed Sacrament these pages are a God send. They help to focus the mind on why one is there.

I have bought a lot of books for my Kindle. I am sorry, I haven't read half of them yet.
