I live in a small apartment where space is at a premium. I used to have a bulky wooden drying rack for my clothes, but decided to install this retractable clothesline on my porch to save space instead. So far, it’s been great! It was easy to install with just a couple of screws. The retractable cord is really sturdy and locks into place on both ends. I have it outside, and it’s held up nicely with rain and weather so far. Overall I’m very happy I installed it!

Works great, can be a little tricky to install lining up the wholes to attach the screws but not bad! Looks beautiful and is very sturdy. Shipping was as stated

Nice size as the other ones are too big, but it doesnt come with instructions. Screwing the faceplate to the wall is trickt and it only goes about 8 ft. After maybe 2 uses, it stopped retracting the line.

I had another one that lasted a year and just installed this one. I am glad it is rope instead of wire but the tip that slips into the mount is plastic. so worried that will break over time. these work best for our small amount of laundry but I wish I could find a sturdy one at a reasonable cost. Mounting was tricky

I live in an apartment with limited space so this clothes line is definitely a must! It was a little difficult and confusing to install. And it didn't come with any directions, so I just had to fiddle around with it until I got it to work. But other than that decent product.

I still have not installed this, but I love hanging my clothes because I have tall family members and the dryer shrinks everything. I had an outdoor line but we had a dead tree removed and now I need a different option for hanging clothes. I bought this to have a spot indoors to hangs some things.

I live in one city that has very lenient leash laws that borders a city with very strict leash laws. My dogs are off-leash trained which is fine in my city, but not the other.I had the bright idea of buying a cheap clothes line that I could disassemble and turn into wearable retractable leashes for when we wander into the other city.This thing is a BEAST. I was expecting plastic or thin aluminum, but it’s powder coated steel! The line is braided steel. It even comes with a tiny screwdriver so you can install it with a minimum of tools.I’m incredibly impressed by its quality! And frustrated. I can’t break it apart!

With limited space wet towels take up too much room and don't dry well. At the behest of my bride I installed this in the shower of our RV, keeps the towels out of the way. They're mounted high enough that no additional waterproofing was needed, the screws go through the plastic surround and into the wallboard which is pretty thin stuff so we don't leave the towels hanging when moving, just at camp.
