Works with my Surface Book! Perfect!!
Fits perfect for my SURFACE BOOK! Can't see it...well hidden and gives me a nice separate discrete 64 gb worth of storage drive for pics...or whatever you would like to save, to organize or keep from using your internal hard drive. The color matches perfect...easy to remove and install.

Does what its supposed to do..nothing more.
The concept is good, it does allow some flexibility with use of micro sd cards as opposed to the Transcend Jet Drive, which if the card fails, you cannot swap out the card portion of the device, but 30.00 for the adapter alone, I thought it was a bit much, if you take a good look at the adapter you can see its just a small piece of plastic with copper contacts, how much could it cost to make this device. I purchased this one for a MacBook Air 2013 with a 256 GB flash drive, I considered buying one for a MacBook Pro 2014 that I use for work, but I may just buy another micro sd card that comes with a plastic adapter and just use that, it does not stick out of the computer that far to begin with, but decide for yourself.

... one because of the comment that it is the best one for a 2010 13" Pro
I bought this one because of the comment that it is the best one for a 2010 13" Pro. It's actually smaller than this model's card slot, and it takes me a few tries of inserting/rejecting/repeat before the drive connects. However, that last issue might just be one specific to my computer's card slot. It always takes a few tries to get the card reader to, um, actually read cards.Anyway, this device does just what I need for it to do. It's not a bad price and I am glad to have a backup drive as simple and portable as this. One thing I noticed is that the microSD card I bought needed to be reformatted specifically while inserted into the SD converter that came with it; my computer couldn't reformat the card while reading it through the hyperdrive. Once formatted to my mac, though, the drive and microSD work as expected.

Unreliable
This adapter has proven to be unreliable for me. I'm using it in a 2012 13" MBP with a 128GB SanDisk Ultra microSD card and I just can't count on the files copied onto it to be able to be read later, and if you can't put stuff on it with confidence, it defeats the purpose. I think not knowing for sure that your files with work when you need them is worse than not having them at all. For what it's worth, if I put the same microSD card in a card reader plugged into a USB port, the card works just fine.

Looks and functions great
Wonderful for my MBA. Fits seamlessly, I actually forget I have the card installed. I store my media on there, with the fastest sd card I could find.

Perfect fit, though improper disk ejections reported after 'sleep' mode
Works perfectly, fits perfectly, although this makes it difficult to remove. The only issue is that sometimes when my Mac book goes to sleep it says I ejected a disk improperly. Must be something with how the Mac treats the sd slot.
