I bought this fountain to please my finicky cats who only want to drink from a running faucet. I had another more popular fountain in the past that they loved, but the motor burned out twice. This one has a lovely design and looks nice in my kitchen. It also sounds lovely to have a running fountain in your space. My only complaint so far is that it splashes a bit, so I bought a silicone mat to keep it on. I've only had it for a few days, so not yet sure how it will do in the longterm. The day/night feature is nice too!

Bought this just over a year ago because we needed a second fountain when the dog decided he suddenly liked drinking out of the one we got for our cats. I wanted something a little smaller I could set up on a side table so our shyer cat could get to it when the pupper was hogging the water. This is perfect for that. It's compact, but not so small I have to refill it too often between cleanings, and the reservoir lifts out making it easier to clean and fill. When we first got it, the filter would buzz against the bottom of the reservoir, which mysteriously seemed to stop months later. Today I went to clean, and noticed that the fountain wasn't bubbling(probably why my cat was politely shouting in my face this morning) and assessed that the integrated pump had stopped working. With this fountain when the pump is off, the bowl completely drains leaving no water available. Good thing we have other water sources. Overall I've been really happy with this fountain. The integrated pump can be seen as a design flaw, as once it's done, it's done. I'll be trying a different fountain to test it's longevity.

Edit: After a year of having these fountains I have to change my review. I LOVED these fountains. At first I didn't realize I had access to the pump to clean it properly, and I was sent a new one. They are easy to clean but at just about a year for all of them the bases have stopped working. Out of nowhere they just keep blinking red for no reason even though they are full. There is nothing obstructing the sensors on the base or the container itself. Both are dry. I've checked everything and they just keep blinking red. I really loved these but I'll have to look for a different brand. Extremely disappointed.I LOVE THESE FOUNTAINS! They are super cute but not juvenile looking. Having it shaped as a cat was very clever. I bought these because I wanted to upgrade from my other fountains. I dreaded having to clean them and change the filters because the design was terrible and there were MANY parts. These fountains however are very easy to clean and have way less parts to deal with. The process of cleaning everything has cut down my time from about a 1/2 hour to just under 10 minutes. It’s also quiet with just the soft calming sound of the little waterfall being the only thing you hear. Some people may not like to hear anything but that’s easily fixable by taking out the green plastic leaves.My only dislikes...which are not deal breakers.1. There are no markings to indicate how much water should be put in.2. It will cycle on and off throughout the night, vs. continuously running. They claim it’s to conserve energy/electricity but the amount of electricity used is minuscule so in my opinion that feature is a bit pointless. I also live in an apartment with no direct light to the place I have the fountains. This means even during the day the fountains may go into cycling mode if the sensor thinks it’s night time. Also most cats are nocturnal so why would you limit their water intake when they’re usually most active? I did find a fix by using a desk lamp to keep a spotlight on them so they won’t turn off. Again those things aren’t deal breakers because the pros by far outweigh the cons, and the desk light was an easy and cheap fix. Most importantly my cats LOVE them!Overall I’d buy these again and again.

I love these just wish they didn’t stop working within 60 days. I have had two bad ones out of the 7 I have bought so far. The company didn’t offer to replace just give me $5 off a new one. Disappointing so will keep looking for another one that lasts longer than the 30 day warranty

Hier passt einfach alles...ich hatte vorher einen Trinkbrunnen aus Keramik - optisch ok und die Katzen nahmen ihn auch an - jedoch war die Reinigung und der Zusammenbau jedes Mal eine absolute Fummelei. Erst nach mind. 10 Versuchen klappte die Verbindung die man "blind" treffen musste.Bei diesem Brunnen hat mal jemand richtig nachgedacht. Man muss nicht jedesmal die Stromzufuhr abstecken um Ihn zu reinigen oder zu befüllen. Man entnimmt einfach den Innenbehälter. Dann den weißen Deckel abnehmen und schon kann man wunderbar alles reinigen und neu befüllen. Der Zusammenbau ist denkbar einfach - den kleinen Motor auf die dafür vorgesehen Stifte stecken und schon kann nichts mehr schiefgehen. Deckel drauf und einfach wieder in die weiße Schale stellen und es funktioniert sofort.Meine beiden Katzen verfolgten bereits neugierig das Auspacken, Reinigen und Zusammenbauen des Brunnens. Kaum stand er auf dem Boden und plätscherte los wurde sofort getestet ob das Wasser daraus genauso gut schmeckt wie aus Trinkschale oder Keramikbrunnen und siehe da - ab da wurde nur noch der Brunnen benutzt und das mehrfach täglich ausgiebig.Von mir eine klare Kaufempfehlung!!! Optisch ein Hingucker, Technisch durchdacht und bezahlbar, den Katzen gefällt es und es wird benutzt - was möchte man mehr ??? 5 Sterne verdient!

Nachtrag: leider halten von den pumpen die Sensoren nicht lange und da es keine Ersatz pumpen gibt kann man das ganze Teil entsorgen. Habe jetzt 2 brunnen reklamiert nach 7 Monaten und leider gibt es auf Garantie keine neue. Der Service antwortet auch eher schleppend bis garnicht mehr. Nach dem ich nun 4 verschiedene Brunnen hatte die vom Preis alle deutlich über diesem hier lagen bin ich sehr positiv überrascht worden . Die Plastik Qualität ist top und genau so gut wie die teuren. Leider waren die teuren alle sehr laut da die Pumpen alle am brummen waren was man trotz extra Filz unter den Füßen noch in 10m wahrnehmen konnte. Also habe ich bei diesem Brunnen mal keine leisere erwartet. Leider wurde ich enttäuscht, sie war so leise das sie nicht hörbar ist selbst wenn man ganz dicht dran geht. Der Trick ist ganz einfach nehmt die saugnäpfe die unter der Pumpe sitzen raus da sie keinen Zweck erfüllen und so die Pumpe in der Aufnahme sitzt aber sonst keine Berührung mit dem Gehäuse hat. Also top leise und das für so einen Preis.

Meine Katzen lieben diesen Trinkbrunnen.Unser alter Trinkbrunnen hat mich immer genervt, da man das Surren der Pumpe und das leise plätschern gehört hat. Nachdem man ihn auch nur ganz schlecht reinigen konnte, war er irgendwann einfach so schmuddelig das ich ihn meinen Katzen nicht mehr vorsetzen wollte.Nach einigem suchen bin ich dann auf diesen Glücksgriff gestoßen. Kein Surren mehr und durch das verstellen des Blattauslaufes auch kein Plätschern mehr.Das Filtersystem arbeitet bisher einwandfrei und dadurch ist das reinziehen viel einfacher und es setzt sich nicht mehr soviel Dreck ab.An die indirekte Beleuchtung musste ich mich erst gewöhnen, aber meine Katzen hat diese nie gestört, die waren direkt sehr begeistert vom Trinkbrunnen und ich beobachte sie täglich mehrmals dabei wie sie das Wasser daraus genießen.Ich würde ihm jeden empfehlen und immer wieder kaufen.

Leider sind unsere Maine-Coons vorher etwas trinkfaul gewesen (aus normalen Schälchen) also suchte ich nach einem neuen Brunnen, der alte war kaputt. Ich finde diesen Trinkbrunnen besser, als unseren zuvor. Der war mit so einem großen runden weißen Filter Pad, das irgendwie immer etwas ekelig war beim auswechseln. Dieser funktioniert vom Filter/Material viel angenehmer und ist gut zu reinigen. Klar muss man es etwas auseinanderbauen, um es ganz sauber zu bekommen, aber das geht recht einfach. Der eine Punkt Abzug: manchmal hat der Brunnen kurze Aussetzer - selten....also nicht nur, wenn er zu leer ist, manchmal auch so, obwohl eine der Katzen sehnsüchtig davor wartet...aber das kommt echt sehr selten vor und trotzdem ist dann noch genug Wasser oben in der Schale, also verdursten würde die Katze trotzdem nicht. Aber ansonsten wirklich super.

Der Trinkbrunnen ist sehr gut. Er ist schnell zusammengebaut. Meine Katze trinkt zwar wenig, aber sie ging schon an den Brunnen ran, da das Wasser plätschert. Die Lautstärke ist angenehm.Sie mag es auch an der Spüle zu sitzen und vom Wasserhahn zu trinken. Das Wasser wird jede Woche gewechselt, das alte Wasser erhalten die Pflanzen im Haus. Im Sommer mindestens 3 x die Woche, wir trinken ja auch nicht gern abgestandenes Wasser. Es ist auch kein Problem den Behälter zu reinigen, das Material ist sehr glatt, dadurch hält sich kein Wasserstein o.ä. Er ist auf jeden Fall sehr empfehlenswert und sieht auch ansprechend aus.
