Here is the one drawback: this sauteuse weighs 2.5kg empty. You will need strong hands and arms to handle it on the hob. On gas it performs perfectly in all other respects, though: temperature changes happen extremely quickly; heat is distributed very evenly (despite the absence of a thick base) and is distributed well beyond the base; the stainless steel interior is as easy to clean as any other stainless steel pot. It is worth mentioning that the base of the sauteuse has a brushed finish outside which improves heat conductivity on gas further (while it's irrelevant for an electric hob).The design of this sauteuse is simply amazing: it appears traditional without being kitschy, and valuable without being showy. The color combination of the dark grey handle, the copper and the silver interior is simply perfect. My recommendation is to dignify such an outstanding piece of cookware by daily use, just as any other pot. Don't just put it into a glass cabinet, to be removed only for polishing.

Una delle migliori pentole che ho mai avuto. Indicata per il risotto fino ad un massimo di tre quattro porzione. Eccezionale anche il prezzo e eccellente per una pentola con spessore di 2,5mm di rame. Consigliatissima
