Rugged and thoughtfully designed
Wasn't wild about the first impression for this mount. The packaging and manual doesn't inspire confidence but so far it seems to have it where it counts. I bought this to keep tabs on some of my ride stats on my phone and to track cycling workouts. Very happy with this so far. It's all-aluminum and feels nice and sturdy. The screw-type fastening system does a great job of keeping my phone firmly in place and the spring-loaded adjustment makes flexible installation easy and maybe even adds a little bit of shock absorption for the phone. I've used this on some gravel riding and it held the phone in with no problems, despite a moderate amount of vibration during the ride. I like it.

An excellent clamp with a fatal flaw
This is a very well-built phone clamp, made of aluminum, and is very secure on my handlebars. I can't recommend this one, though. For all the obvious care that went into the design, instead of simply integrating or securely gluing the rubber pads that protect/hold the phone, they are included on a sticker sheet for the customer to stick on. The adhesive is garbage, and the instructions for where to put the odd shaped pieces are non-existent. First hot day ride, and all the fricken rubber pieces came out of the holder. They basically designed the perfect holder 95% of the way, then through it all in the trash with that single choice. Don't buy it.

Trustworthy with your $500+ phone, with or without case.
Your browser does not support HTML5 video. I really like the phone holder because I can look down at it and use it like a speedometer GPS and radio/stereo. It can spin around To have the phone display in landscape or vertical and locks in the position well. All metal construction, aluminum and pot metal. Mine is in Florida and has repeatedly been exposed to moisture and has not shown any signs of correct corrosion or paint peeling. I have had one over the handle bars wipe out without any I issue with the phone holder.

Very sturdy, easy to install and keeps your phone in place with no worries!
Nice sleek and super easy to install onto my bike! I love that I do not have to screw into my bike Frame and can move the mount to a different spot of needed. My phone sits snuggly on the holder even with a case on it and I have no issues with it falling off even at higher speeds on my electric bike! The mount itself is metal and not cheap plastic so that's super awesome!Only thing (and this is me being picky) is while putting phone in and pulling out, you have to screw a side lever in or out to loosen the part golfing your phone. A little tedious and would have been nice if it was a spring action design. But you get over that pretty quickly.I love it

Really well made phone holder
This is an impressively well made alloy phone holder which a very clever way to hold the phone and pivot from vertical to horizontal....it does not block any of the phones functions...My only criticism is the tiny barely legible instructions which don't really explain where to put the rubber pads included with the phone in a separate package..

Terrible quality!
It lasted three days, retaining device poorly constructed, breaking, iPhone goes flying and now I have a shattered screen... should have known, made in China!Installation pretty easy to figure out, directions are useless, poorly written by someone not in command of the English language.Save yourself some aggravation, and a shattered screen, take the money you were gonna spend on this and just throw it in the garbage. This was the highest rated one I found on amazon...

Sturdy but flawed
The good:* It's made entirely of metal and is very sturdy.* Holds my phone super securelyThe bad:* When a phone's not in, it makes constant loud clunking noise while riding* Protrudes too hight above handlebars, is a bit bulky

Good quality, only rotates on one plane
Quality was better than expected. Sturdy and seemed very durable. It only rotates on one plane of direction, meaning, it only spins. It cannot rotate from side to side, which makes it pretty hard to use on clip ons.
