Works better than factory. Just no instructions which side is up . But looking at glovebox figured it out.

Perfect Fit and Function (VW Touareg)
I took a leap of faith that this would fit and work. It does both perfectly. I think it’s a better item than the OEM. The switching paddle mechanism is sealed up and operates smoothly. The LED is obviously better than the stock bulb in brightness and just seem of better quality. The fit is spot on and installation took maybe 45 seconds. If you don’t lose the connector into the abyss of the dash it’s a snap. Lose the cable and you will have to fish it out or remove the glove box. Good product

Doesn’t work at all.
Didn’t work at all. No light when plugged in. Was past the return window before I could test it. Stuck with e-waste that I paid for.
