Description Kwik-Stop Styptic Powder Kwik-Stop Styptic Powder With Benzocaine is an aid to stop bleeding caused by clipping nails, docking tails, and trimming beaks and minor cuts. Kwik-Stop Styptic Powder freezes the nerve ends close to the area where applied. Ferric Subsulfate controls the bleeding. Benzocaine is a topical anesthetic to ease pain and discomfort. Pressure bandaging to be used in conjunction with product following tail docking. Directions: Apply with moistened cottonn tipped applicator to the cut nail or other superficial bleeding area using moderate constant pressure for five to ten seconds. Do not use in deep wounds or body cavities, or on burns.
