I will never buy disposable pads again
The product comprises 10 reusable sanitary towels. Each towel consists of 4 layers: an absorbent bamboo-charcoal fibre layer, two microfibre inner layers and a waterproof bottom layer. The towels have their own individual and colourful design. The towels are shaped like a standard winged sanitary towel. They attach to regular underwear using a button clip positioned on the wings. The pads were easy to attach and very comfortable to wear. They were very absorbent and I didn't experience any leaks whilst wearing them. I was very impressed at how well the towels worked and I didn't have any problems with the towel moving (as I have had with disposable towels). The towels were easy to wash. I soaked them in cold water before placing them in a regular cycle in my washing machine. The towels are supplied with a small wet bag which can be used to store the towels if you need to change one when you are out and about. I thought this was a really nice touch. The environmental impact of disposable sanitary towels has always bothered me due to the volume of waste going to landfill and the problems associated with towels ending up in sewer systems. This product will have a positive impact by reducing the volume of waste created by sanitary products. The product is quite expensive but will last up to 3 years. The towels will pay for themselves within 10 months meaning two years of savings in the long term, which is fantastic value for money.Overall, the towels are a great alternative to disposable sanitary towels. They are comfortable and absorbent and are significantly cheaper in the long term. I don't think I could recommend this product highly enough.

SOMETHING IMPORTANT
When worn inside well made period pants bought from an Amazon (seller name begins with an I and I have no connection to the seller so this review is impartial) these don’t move about at all - the inner surface of the period pants crotch has a grippy texture. But if wearing with ordinary big pants only, paired with loose fitting joggers around the house, they slip, twist and bunch at the back ALOT. It can be limited greatly by re-adjusting the liner again AFTER pulling ordinary pants up, by placing a hand down the back of the knickers and realigning the liner to ensure that it is lying totally flat (and hasn’t curled upwards or slid sideways). This isn’t quire as critical if wearing trousers which are more close fitting. I’d rather not have to go through this rigmarole each time I go to the loo though! And the proper period pants give double the insurance at times of heavy flow and at night. This review only accounts for wearing the above items at home or out shopping and doesn’t reflect how they might behave when doing sport. Also, as soon after wearing as poss, I rinse until water runs clear, then PRESS the water out (wringing could destroy the waterproofing layer (?) and machine wash (I’ve heard of people placing them in a net bag which might be worth a try) then create a bunting-like string with the popper from one pressed onto the `opposite’ popper on the next, to make drying a breeze. I might try a final rinse, by hand, in water to which lavender essential oil (or other antibacterial essential oil ... there are lots to choose from) has been added, to give them a bit of lasting, eco-friendly fragrance and antibacterial properties. Overall, I’ve found these pads to be reliable in their absorption and they clean up well. Hope this is useful - it’s so important to be comfy, feel secure and have simple procedures for coping with our menstruals!!!

Wish I had discovered years ago!
I cannot recommend this product highly enough! I was dubious about using them initially but am ever conscious of the plastic footprint of disposable towels so decided to give them a go. Oh my God! What a revelation! Not only are they kind on the environment, but they are SO super comfy that you hardly feel them at all. When I tried them for the first time, it also happened to be the hottest day of the year and I can report that the fleece material was not at all too hot. They are great for night time too. Easy to clean and cheap. The only thing I will say is that they are absolutely huge size! I wouldn't mind finding some slightly smaller and perhaps shaped to fit better to your contours. Bit the large size is a benefit at night when you move around alot.I just wish I'd discovered them years ago!!!!

Yes!
Where have these pads been all my life? I wish I had found out about them when I was younger. It's an excellent product: very comfortable, washes well and dries fast. It's good to know I'm doing my bit to help the environment. Unfortunately they are not great for really heavy flows. I still use commercial pads on the first day of my period - and definitely at night time. The absorbency is not great, liquid seems to stay at the top. On the plus side, I'll never have to fret running to the shops for supplies again. And I'll be saving. It's win-win.
