Smooth, smudge free and affordable. Really a good quality black ink, color is deep black. I was using one of my pens with some other black ink and I switched to Souveran Pelikan and there was a big difference in the smoothness of the nib. It adds to the smoothness of the nib.

Expensive but worth it.
Tiny bit expensive but worth it. Writes great. If your fountain pen is scratchy this will make it smooth. The colour is a nice noir black. The Bottle is a small glass in good condition. Dries quickly and not too watery. Won't smudge after drying.

Not perfect black
Believe me it is not perfect black.... You will not get a pure black color. So if you want pure black color , then please don't buy it. But it will give you a smooth writing experience. Before that i used pilot ink with my pilot metropolitan. It was better than pelikan ink.
