A little thicker metal, not cheaply made

Three 3 oz. stainless steel ladles which worked out perfect for use in my 3 small crock pot set. The crock pots held mulled wine, mulled cider, and mulled cranberry punch. A couple of dips filled a small glass perfectly.

I got these because heated they are long handle. But, what you can in length, you lose in strength on these ladles. They bend too easy when used in deep pots (which is why I wanted the long handle!)

We bought the 2 oz. and 4 oz. sizes to help get a handle on portion sizes in our house. In the past when we've made soups or stews we'd just dip a bunch out of the pot with a measuring cup but now that both of us are on prescribed weight loss regimens we had to get a bit more careful. The long handle makes them useful elsewhere - if you're a gardener they will work well for applying liquid fertilizers like compost tea. They're a little light weight - fine for home but likely wouldn't last in a commercial kitchen. Since they come in a 3-pack even if the kids bang them up you'll have backup.
