It fits my iPad really well, protects the edges and screen when necessary and has a magnet to help with the on/off screen.The edges are thicker so that it actually protects the iPad from drops. I actually dropped it in my video not being sure what to expect but it worked as advertised.I would highly recommend this case for the price and usability.

I bought this ipad cover for my daughter 's sixth generation. Delivery was very fast. The cover material seems to be vinyl but not leather, but looks scratch free. The plastic case wrapping the ipad is very durable and can protect it from impact. And it is very transparent and very nice to see. The folding cover is very well folded and is very useful when you are watching videos or working. What I like the most about this ipad cover is that the folding cover is detached. If you are not using iPad or watching videos, you can use folding cover. If you use ipad by hand, it is very easy to use cover separately. And separating the cover is very easy to separate. I feel like I bought two covers for one price. Overall I am very satisfied with the quality of this thing.

I used this case for around one month, accidentally scratched the cover, but it does not affect the usefulness. The back of the case is transparent, I can put some nice stickers to make it prettier. The corner protection design perfectly prevented my iPad from falling. My favorite design flow the removable cover, it is able to decrease total thickness to stuck my iPad to the tablet stand. Overall, the cost-effectiveness of this iPad case is very high and very handiness, therefore I recommend it.

This case it not compatible with 2016 iPad Pro. The cover doesn’t close. Had to return.***UPDATE: Sellers were amazing in fixing this issue! I picked up last years iPad and eventhough I didn't pay full price, I still wanted to protect it. This case was a good value. Clear case with Black smart cover. First the "clear" plastic. It is clear on the sides but slightly frosted on the back. The frosted effect actually doesn't detract much from seeing the gold back on my ipad and it still looks great. Fits pretty good and seems like it would be protective. The smart cover fits well, but it is a little challenging to remove and replace from the case. Opening and closing turns the ipad on and off as expected. You can fold the smart cover to make a stand 2 ways In the "low" position you can fold the case where the microfiber is inside or outside and it will work fine. In the more upright positon, it will only stay standing if you fold it with the microfiber outside. Obviously you would only want to do this on a clean surface.

**Update: the seller contacted and insisted the problem was a defective case damaged in shipping. I returned the case for a replacement, which had the exact same issues as the first, but even worse - this time in addition to a nonfunctional cover (no sleep/wake functionality) and power button cover issues (having to press very hard to get the ipad to register the button press), the case was also loose on the left side and would not stay on properly. This case is currently listed as compatible with my 9.7 2018 (6th generation, Model #A1893) iPad, so the case compatability is either being advertised incorrectly or there are major quality control issues with these cases :( Dissappointed as I really like the design of this otherwise.---Original Review:Frustrated - I like the design of this case, particularly the removable cover, but there seems to be a quality control issue with the product. The case I received was bent, the power button was impossible to push through the case, and the cover did not sit flush or wake/sleep the device at all. Was sitting on my desk -- and the sunlight came through the window, was on it for an hour, and the cover warped. Amazing offered to replace it,... then sent me the wrong size, and refused to fix their fulfillment error after that saying there was nothing they could do even though their shipping team sent me the wrong size. This is actually the 5th time in 2019 Amazon fulfilled the WRONG item or size to us. I'm really tired of being their shipping department - we have our own company to manage and run, we don't need to manage theirs. So now I have a warped one in the right size that doesn't appropriately cover my iPad screen, 8-10 weeks after buying it, ... and a smaller new one that I can use. Great work, Amazon. Putting the correct products in packages is hard, apparently.

It is true to color (I purchased pink). The clear rubbery material that wraps around the edges of the iPad is flexible, very thick on the corners and so far quite durable. I really enjoy the aesthetics of the see-through back. The front cover DOES easily slip out from the case as other have mentioned. You have to push it back in. Also, the inner front panel has a soft, almost suede like material. I made the mistake of cooking in the kitchen with that side down to prop up my iPad and there must have been unseen drops of oil, or something on the counter. It stained the material and it cannot be cleaned off- I tired. I would not recommend using this product on a countertop or in a kitchen.

It is perfect! I love the rubber bumper corners. Even the side are rubber which is a nice surprise. This will absorb bumps and protect ipad. The magnetic cover works when I open/close cover. It puts the ipad to sleep mode. I love the transparent backcover which shows the apple symbol. I bought the rose gold color. Looks like a dusty rose which I love. I like the elasticized stylus pen holder on the outside of cover. The inside of the cover is felt material and soft. The removable cover is very convenient and unique. I recommend this case. I give it 5+ stars.

I was looking for a case with a removable cover to use with a tablet holder to read music sheets. I was planning to buy the Apple Smart Cover and was looking for a sturdy back cover to go with it - not the ridiculously thin and unprotective ones, and not those ultra-protective ones with an annoyingly big plastic bezel around the screen - when I came across the Valkit case. That one is just perfect: exactly the kind of protecting back cover I was looking for, with a removable cover. I am just not convinced at all the hinge of the removable cover will last the thousand of removal-replace maneuvres, but considering the low price of that case, I would have to buy at least 5 of them to reach the cost of the Apple Smart Cover + a compatible back case, and in counterpart I avoid the risk of damaging the side of my Ipad by constantly removing the smart cover magnet and expose the side to the grip of the tablet holder. For that reason I don’t remove a star for my suspicion of possible breakage of the cover hinge - anyway I consider my daily removal of the cover an almost abusing use. I will just happily buy at least another one - the rose-gold this time :-) to make sure to have a replacement when the cover will break. Love it!!

It fit my 6th generation iPad well. I like the elasticized pen holder and it functions well. My only complaint is that the sleep function does not work with the cover. It’s almost like the front cover could have been slightly wider to completely cover the front of the iPad. It does not turn off my iPad when I close the cover.

Order came early and met all my expectations with sleep kode, durability, sturdiness, and overall quality of the product. What I love is that the cover is detachable.

Nice smart cover. There is a little scratch in the bottom corner. They should have checked it before shipping. That’s why I have given 4 stars. Overall its a good looking piece. No comment on durability as I have just got it yesterday.
