Still a very good option
I was looking to purchase the 2020 MacBook Air but it was not available with the local dealers. I came to Amazon to purchase it and saw this 2019 model selling on offer around 85K, with 5% cashback on my ICICI Amazon credit card the effective cost was around 80K only and to be honest it was a steal at that price. I purchased it at that very moment and have not been disappointed.Pros:>Small form factor and light weight. Very easy to carry around.>Good performance for general day to day tasks like browsing, streaming movies and TV shows, using MS Office etc.(it is a Macbook Air, dont expect it to do heavy and professional tasks, for that you have Macbook Pro)>The bright and vibrant Retina Display>Excellent battery life.Cons:>Only 128 GB storage. Not an issue for me as I dont store any heavy files on laptop.>Butterfly mechanism keyboard. This has the 4th generation of the Butterfly keyboard so it is much more reliable and has more key travel, still I prefer the new scissor keyboard of my 2020 MacBook pro. However, I got used to typing on this in a couple of days and it is not a deal breaker for me. May be I notice the difference because I have another laptop, if this will be your only or main laptop you will most probably get used to it in a few days.Final Verdict:The 2019 Macbook Ail is still a very good option, but only if you can get it on an offer or deal which will make its effective price around 80K or lower. Anything higher than that I suggest you go for the 2020 Macbook Air i3 version which costs around 92K. Its 10th gen i3 is as good as 8th gen i5 in most day to day tasks and you get 256 gb of storage by default. If you can wait for the stocks to be available then it is worth the wait. But if you are getting the 2019 version or 80K or lower then it is surely worth considering.

Nice product
This is my first encounter with Mac OS/Apple product, so i'm still learning things about it.The things i like about this laptop are.....................1.Slim design with Aluminium body2.Very fast startup from sleep(1-2 sec), as I preferably don't shutdown my laptops.3.Very accurate and fast finger print sensor(faster than my oneplus 5 mobile)4. 2K resolution retina display(most of the other laptops offers 1080p at this price range)5. well optimized Bloat free Mojave OS(Free upgradable to Catalina )6.extremely silent at normal use. didn't check with heavy workload, but it meant for light works i guess.7. There are 2 high speed Thunderbolt 3 portsThings that are just OK.....................................1.Hardware could be better at this price point(Rs.89000/ on offer)2.Keyboard is Chiclet type soft-touch with white backlit. I'm not a fan of chiclet keys.3.Track pad is large and normal.Things i don't like...................................1. Easily scratches on body. As aluminium is softer than other metals, it takes scratches which looks like permanent.2. Though Thunderbolt 3 ports are very fast and the future, still i can't ignore the fact that there is no USB-3.0 Type-A port. For that reason to connect any external device you have to purchase Thunderbolt 3 docks or Type-c adapters.3.MacBook Air don't support or recognizes most of the Bluetooth devices. Like i can't use my Wh-h900n headphone from Sony and my HP Z3700 Bluetooth mouse wirelessly (headphone can be used via 3.5mm jack and mouse with Bluetooth dongle+type-c adapter and that doesn't look cool).4. I'm disappointed that Apple has decided to disable the apple logo glow at the back of screen (probably for backlit LED display).

Nice upgrade from a 2013 MacBook Air! Save money by buying micro SD card.
I upgraded from a 2013 MacBook Air. Seems like a pretty neat upgrade. Sleeker, and compact compared to the old one (photo attached). A few reviews on YouTube complain about the key travel in the new keyboard. In my opinion, I feel that 1 person complained, and everyone else joined the bandwagon. Typing on this, actually doesn't feel any bad, and won't feel any bad for majority of the people. In fact, I enjoy typing on this, as it feels more "crunchy". The Touch ID is very useful!Overall a good buy. But reduced 1 star because apple upgraded the MacBook Air from 2018, but didn't bump up the processor speed. They just changed the keyboard, added True Tone, and dropped the price by a bit. Also, I feel that it is 'wrong' on apple's part to still keep selling 128GB SSD on the base model (it should be at least 256GB for the base model, and 512GB for the next). I got the 128GB model because the 256GB model is a LOT more costlier. Would make a lot of sense to just get a micro SD card of 128GB or 256GB (can save a lot of money this way).

Good product but don't use HDFC EMI option to pay
Excellent product - the battery, speed and design all great - absolutely nothing to complain. However, the buying experience was ruined by HDFC Bank and the amazon customer care. Amazon showed some EMI rate on website, however, HDFC Bank (as usual) added a processing fee and charged a higher EMI amount (excluding GST)!! The amazon customer care upon reviewing all the documents etc just felt sorry for me and washed its hand off and mentioned that they are not responsible for it - in not so many words what they meant is they are not responsible for any incorrect info shown by its partner and if you have been wronged, then its your bad luck. So much so for all tall claims on customer centricity! Very disappointing - you can always expect HDFC Bank to take the customers for a ride but it is was not expected of Amazon.
