Unsafe metal!
Not safe! The boxes are held together by metal staples that are not stainless steal. This is very unsafe for birds since they chew the wood. I cut myself picking up pieces and realized how unsafe it was.

Seems big for conures, but still usable. Great price.
WARNING: Sawdust. Before putting in treats or toys, you may have to dust out each of the containers. Maybe yours will be cleaner, but my box came with an awful lot of fine sawdust. I blew in one of the boxes and a cloud of wooden powder flew into my face. I had to use air duster and wipe them all out to get them clean and make sure none of the sawdust stuck to my bird's treats. With that out of the way, I noticed it was a little bigger than I thought it would be. I got it for my Sun Conure like they show in the picture, but this toy seems more suited to slightly bigger birds. It's pretty sturdy against small/medium birds (which may need your help figuring out how to open the boxes), but I'm sure much bigger birds like a Cockatoo would destroy this thing quickly. If your bird can't pull it open, you can just set out a little buffet of treats and toys for them to select from when it's playtime. The price was great compared to bird toys at my local pet shop. My Sun Conure was scared of it at first but once I started playing with the boxes and the wooden ball inside, he wanted to play too. I let him eat treats from the edge of one of the little boxes to get him used to it. They're a little deep so I just stack the toys enough so he can reach them.Overall I give this 5 stars because even if your bird doesn't end up liking it, the box can still make a cute little storage container (strings sideways) for anything small like change, accessories, paper clips and rubber bands, bottle caps etc. I wasn't sure at first, but my bird and I love it.

Bird Hide and Seek
My bird loves his little box. He's opted to chew his way inside instead of learning how to open it though. Oh well, it seems to make him happy.

Foraging
A good sturdy foraging toy but not for my birds. Their beaks are to small to pull out the drawers. I will pass it on to my grand birds to work it. Bigger beaks and more strength

Held together with staples! Dangerous and even at this price not worth it!
This thing is straight up dangerous for birds. Any one that actually has a bird knows they are going to chew on and play with the wood. This thing seems to be all pine, a very soft wood so my bird can shred it pretty fast. Add in this thing is held together with METAL STAPLES and you have all kinds of danger. Would you give a toddler a toy that they are GOING to put in their mouth, bit on hard, and has metal pokey bits. NO! That's why any good parrot toy is put together with slots/joints and non toxic glue! Also the wood has very rough edges with splitters showing out of the box. Doesn't look to have been sanded at all.So considering this thing is going straight in the trash, it is overpriced!

Only one problem with this toy
This little box is well made. All the pieces fit together well. The wood is soft. The problem I had (and someone made a video on this) is that NAILS were used in the construction, and when your bird chews on the wood, the nails get exposed and can potentially injure your bird. Thankfully, mine was not injured. The pieces of this box should have been ONLY glued together with a non-toxic wood glue and this toy would have been perfect.

Made sturdy
I love it. My rabbit, not so much. Well, not as a toy. But, to chew on.
