Comfortable, Affordable, with a Great Sole.
I’ve been wearing slip resistant footwear for fifteen years. I’ve tried numerous brands, such as TredSafe, Skechers, New Balance, Shoes for Crews, and SRMax. They were all good, all comfortable. I decided to try SafeTStep on a whim, and was pleased. The problem with slip resistant shoes is that no matter which brand or style I purchased, the shoes lasted 6-8 months and no longer. My SafeTStep shoes lasted eight months, so I bought another pair, but in a different style. I’m pleased to say they are comfortable, definitely slip resistant, and have shoe laces that aren’t too long. There’s one thing, though, that sets this style apart from the others, and that is the design of the sole. All of the other brands and styles I’ve tried had somewhat similar soles, with grooves that accumulated food debris (I work in food preparation and service). If I didn’t routinely clean the soles, the debris would decompose and smell bad. This style of SafeTStep shoes has a different design. Very little is sticking to the soles, and what does stick is easily removed. I strongly recommend selecting slip resistant shoes with soles similar to this, for that reason. For the money, and considering the average life span of this kind of footwear, I would recommend this model.

Your probably gonna need insoles for extra cusion so order a wide or try a size up
The shoes somewhat crowd my feet besides that there somewhat comfortable, I think I put insoles in from the getgo but working in a warehouse you almost haft to with these cheaper steeltoe shoes, not bad for the money.

Well worth the money
Excellent comfort just like a non steel toe almost forgot they were steel toe until a forklift ran over my toe accidentally will purchase again and highly recommended

You have to break them in
I like the shoe because it protects all around but after 8 hours my feet feel tight and my heel was a little sore. Once I got used to them they became comfortable

Inaccurate size
Too small missed my window to return. But the sizes are run way too small there is no way these are a 14 not even a 13

Starting to wonder if Payless will sell "safeTstep Slip Resistant Men's Blast Runner Black" again? Been using for year and they are the best shoes! Would definitely recommend and buy them again and again!
