Good for tick protection
Nice product and it allows me a chance if he does get a tick, for me to get it off him before the tick will attach itself. I have bought the product over and over again but will still use Frontline Plus in conjunction with it. One problem, I fprget to take off collar when the dog goes swimming rendering the product useless. Would be great if the dog could go swimming in it.

Best tick preventitive on the market
Where we live, ticks are a real problem and after trying several different collars, this is by far the most effective collar we have ever used and it lasts longer than it says it does. I wouldn't have anything else for my 3 dogs. Excellent product.

As soon as I put it on her a tick either fell off or jumped off. I killed that little sucker. I have ordered two more for my wife and I to wear on our ankles. The place where we are currently is lousy with ticks. I could not find anything that said it would hurt us.

No More Ticks
Due to an extended rainy season, we had a lot of ticks coming in on the dogs every time they went out. Our vet advised this collar for them and not one tick since we put them on. They don't seem to mind wearing them. So, I guess they're not irritating. I would recommend them to anyone looking for a good tick prevention collar.

These collars worked well for keeping the ticks off my dog during the summer. Much better than putting topical treatments on them.

Does the job well
I haven't purchased anything else that works for ticks as well as these collars. The collar lasts all summer and I have been using them successfully for three years now. I have two outside dogs and one inside dog. My inside dog is a papillon and they don't tend to get much heavier than 10 lbs. The reason I'm writing this review is to warn anyone with a small dog to be sure you are with the dog for a while when you put the collar on for the first time. My dog became extremely lethargic and I had to remove the collar. If I take it out of the package, unwind it and let it air out a few days before I put it on the dog it doesn't seem to affect him. So, expose it to air for about five days before you let your dogwear it, if you notice them getting droopy and lethargic.
