Easy Greasy Strain & Save Kitchen Colander

I couldn't be happier with this, and am just sorry I waited so long. Have had it a couple of months, use it more than once weekly - obviously, draining meat/grease, but also pasta with/without the catcher bottom and even for draining canned items more efficiently while keeping things tidy. The hole size works better for some things than my standard colander. Easy to clean, dishwasher or by hand and stores well. Truly happy with this purchase.

Makes draining grease an easy task. Very happy with it. I can see how the handle could break if you have a full basket and are not careful, but it's been good so far. I've drained 3 lbs of hamburger in it and thats about all you want to try, it was pretty full. I like it, it fits my needs.

This is the coolest strainer, love it! So convenient and useful for so many items. You will be grabbing this all the time to drain/strain or wash something. Great for rinsing fruit and vegetables.

This gadget is totally worth it...ever tried to drain a frying pan of hamburger with grease in it? You did it over the sink, right? With the pan cover? Only the hamburger slipped out and fell in the sink? And if you didn't run hot water.....well, forget all that. After frying your cheap hamburger, just dump the whole thing in this strainer with the handy container on the bottom. You won't lose any meat, and it will all drain thoroughly.

I have never written a review before but I have to with this item. This is the perfect kitchen item for someone who doesn't want to put grease down the sink, which is horrible to do if you have a septic tank! I love it and use it almost every day. The lid is wonderful because after I strain the meat, I can cover it and leave it so my cats can't get into it. After the grease turns solid, I take a paper towel and just wipe solid grease out and throw in the gargage can! It has been through the dishwasher every time I use it and it hasn't damaged it all and still looks brand new. I seriously almost didn't order this item, I am so glad I did!!!! I wish it came in other colors which is my ONLY complaint!!

This product solved my problem of how not to have a greasy mess after cooking sausage or ground beef. The colander has a dish it fits in. Pour in your cooked meat and it quickly drains. There is a top for the dish. You put ithe covered dish aside until the fat congeals, and then scrape it into the trash later. The colander has a handle and pour spout, so you can easily pour your meat back into your recipe.

I love this! Making tacos or bbq's are so much easier with this device. The grease simply drains to the bottom.

Love this new gadget for the kitchen. Only issue? Grease is a tab hard to clean out of the bottom.
