Naviskin Men's 5 inches Running Shorts Quick Dry Workout Athletic Outdoor Shorts Zipper Pocket

Besides being extremely comfortable running shorts, this particular Naviskin product has more pockets than one can imagine, and all were safe for my phone - which is enough for me to call it a victory! The two side pockets are deep and perfect for when I'll need access to my phone during my jog, whereas the back pocket with zipper will enable me to run with my phone, snug and secure. The shorts have an interior drawstring, interior lining, and are lightweight & flexible for any length of jog.

I bought most of my jogging shorts 8-9 years ago at a brick and morter store based in Bentonville, AR, but wish I had bought more since they're constantly changing the styles. Nowadays, all men can buy are dresses/skirts that come to your knees. I lived through the 70s and 80s when shorts were actually short, not this knicker-length crap they sell today. Don't want shorts hitting my knees or anywhere closer to it. The whole idea is absurd. I'm not embarrassed of my thighs. #won'twearit.So it was nice to find some 5" shorts on Amazon. These feel like a swimming suit, and with the mesh brief liner, I think you could wear them as a swimsuit. Pocket holds my Galaxy S9 cellphone easily, so that's great. Drawstring tie could be a little longer, but it will work if I don't get the string lost in the string tunnel. Tried them on and they were comfy. Will be interesting to take them for a test spin on a jog. Will update my review soon if there are any issues, but I expect they will be fine.UPDATE: Just had my first workout in these. Keeping 4 star review. Very, very light, which is a slight plus. However, running with cellphone in pocket more noticeable due to lightness of shorts. But I got used to that and it is not a deal-breaker. Also a bit odd running with a mesh liner rather than my usual briefs, but hey, if chicks can free the tatas, we can free willy, right?

UPDATE* Received replacement pair with the same defects, see last 2 photos. Not sure why the change in quality, but this seems like a bad batch. Be sure to check or your shorts when you receive them as they can start unraveling, esp. after a wash since the seams are not sewn down completely and has loose thread. Would not recommend or buy again. Contacted seller and basically got the brush off. Will be buying from different seller/brand from now on.Purchased the blue and black prior to purchasing the grey ones and they were great. Unfortunately, the same cant be said about the grey ones as the seams are coming loose due to the fact that they are poorly sewn. Will be exchanging them for another pair and hopefully receive one without defects. They need better quality control as it is annoying to have to return for a replacement; price point is great which is the only reason why I'm dealing with it. Would recommend if their quality holds up.

My shorts arrived today, and I’ve already tried them out on a walk. The fit perfectly and are very comfortable. The 5” inseam is ideal for someone on the shorter side like me. I have a 33” waist, so the Medium fits very well. The side pockets are nice, and the zippered rear pocket will hold a cell phone, key, or credit card.These are comparable to the big-name brands that cost two-three times as much.My only recommendation to the manufacturer is to offer a few more colors. I will definitely be ordering more.

I ordered my normal size (Medium) and these shorts fit great! I normally wear size 32-33 size jeans (for comparrison). The zipper seems a little stiff, but I am getting better with using it with just one hand, with a little practice! I like the rubber cover over the zipper clasp and that the clasp can be easily moved left or right, to assist in opening or closing. The diameter of the pocket is about 4 by 5 inches. So, while you may not get tour smart phone in there, this would be a good place to secure your bills, or a credit card or two. I am pleased with the length: not too long and not too short. They do not restrict any movement! The comfortable liner, keeps all your assets in place: No need to wear and restricting underwear! These shorts are very light! Good value for the money! Just follow the care instructions on the label, you will not be dissapointed!

These shorts are light weight and true to size.Pockets:The rear pocket can easily fit my phone and its zipper is nice. However, the depth of the rear pocket might allow for items to move a little more while running. The side pockets are regular pockets, I am glad that they are there.Material and Workmanship:The material is lightweight, but not as rugged as the Nike and New Balance shorts I have of similar styling. However, the quality of the rear pocket zipper is great. I also like the waist band, it was nicely done.Recommendation:I would recommend for casual exercise and running, but not for marathons or activities that might snag the material.

The best thing about these shorts is what they're NOT.Most athletic shorts today are too long on the thigh. The shorts from the 70s and 80s were perfect for athletic competition but became retro fast; and it a very bad way it seems.The Naviskin 5" running shorts offer the comfort and freedom of movement of the old style shorts without being embarrassingly out of style.I compete in Masters Track & Field (field events) and these shorts are perfect. Also, I wear them on bike rides because the pockets are spacious enough for keys and wallet.They feel sturdy (only had 'em a couple months) and offer plenty of support with the inner liner. The look good, even on an old man.As long as Amazon sells these Naviskin shorts, they're all I'm going to wear for training and competing.

I ordered an XL because I like my workout shorts to be loose. Normally I wear a M or L in regular pants. I am a 34 waist. The elastic waist on this was a bit tight and the crotch hung down ridiculously low - I felt and looked like I was wearing a skirt. The crotch is so low that the inseam is more like 2" and the front is as wide as the back so it looks like you have them on backwards. SENT BACK. Unfortunate because the material felt good.

Inner mesh was white. Not an ideal colour for running commando. Pictures suggested the mesh colour would match the exterior. Otherwise a good product. Fit is not super 'attractive' looking, but very good for running. There is a pocket at the back above the tail bone that is the right size for keys.

I've had these shorts for near a year now, two colours, black and grey. The durability is amazing and they are incredibly, incredibly comfortable. NAVISKIN has a customer for life!

The shorts had a good fabric, but did not stretch for full strides and added a little resistance. Also the fit was off. They are cheap shorts and fit to match the price point.
