The brush is "usable" but the construction was very poorly done. Split wood where the hanging hole is placed, metal ferrule is crooked so that brush bristles bend to one side. Not worth the money to send back so I upgraded to a different brand.

First use was fine...after that, always had to pull little bristles from the brush off the food or off the brush before it got to the food. Not recommended.

I wanted one with real brush fibers and not those plastic alterations. This one is just right. Great for brushing egg on breads, glaze on meat or desserts, and even those tiny flecks of cheese from graters.
