I was looking for a wire cutter with a crimping tool built in. I’m a Craftsman guy and while this one was a few dollars more than another brand I found at Lowe’s I decided to go for it. This tool is solid and easy to use. Got the job done using butt splices for a working project I was doing. Comes with a lifetime warranty in case anything goes wrong but given how it’s performed so far I doubt I’ll need it. If you’re on the fence just get it. You won’t regret it.

Bought this stripper to replace a cheaper one that I purchased years ago. What a difference! This thing cuts wire like its butter does a great job for stripping as well. It vey durable but light weight, I recommend it for the money.

Craftsman product, works well, should last long

I’ve never Had any pliers specific to the Task at hand. I would used what I could with what I had in hand, a Multitool, Needle nose, wire cutters.I installed sealing Fans in the entire house and re-did the electrical in my garage and some other small random stuff such as Appliance repair. They made all my Jobs so easy and fast.I know use the correct tool for the Job.Being a Frugal person I’d say they are worth their price, I’d Buy them again. If you’re a Professional I’d say get something els with a Better warranty, if you’re just a Regular person for DIY I’d say buy them. If they come defect return them and have them replaced via Amazon not Craftsman.

Craftsman tools are the best hands down. My husband has been using this wire stripping tool for many year’s. This will only be the second pair that we’ve had to pay for since 2001. Sears craftsman allowed him to return his used tools for brand new ones at no cost. That was the Craftsman/Sears guarantee of a lifetime. He loves these for his job as an Electrician. He mentioned he needed them when he goes back to work, so I bought these as a gift. Much to his surprise they were his favorite wire cutters from long ago. I was happy to find them on Amazon for him.
