Shooterpads Gel Filled Recoil Pads

I use this on my turkey shotgun. I use a 3.5" 12 GA. with over 2 OZ. of shot. It greatly reduces felt recoil. It works better than my shoulder pad and is easier to use while hunting.Fit is OK, the top and bottom don't exactly match up with my buttstock but its close enough.Slips on with it's elastic sleeve so I can quickly and easily switch it from gun to gun. I was somewhat skeptical when I bought it but it works

This thing works great. I never like the pads that strap to your shoulder but I have a lot of rifles that beat me apart when shooting. I got this since it's easy to switch between the guns and lets me shoot a lot longer before getting all bruised up. I just took out the extra little spacers/pads that come with it since they didn't seem to make a difference. I've used it on a 30-06 Sako with a custom stock, a 303 Britt Lee Enfield with original stock and a 32 win Winchester Model 94 with factory stock and it fit all 3 nice and tight, didn't move around and made a noticeable difference while shooting, especially since all have metal butt plates. You still feel the recoil but it take enough of the edge off. I also threw it on the AR with a standard A2 stock and my Benelli Nova and it fit both of those fine although they don't need it. It does lengthen the stock a little but for me (6'4") that helped, didn't hurt anything. The only problem is I'm shooting more rounds each time I go to the range now and ammo isn't cheap!

I bought this pad for my daughter's Winchester 45 Colt lever action to try to minimize any recoil (she's a petite little light-weight, so any recoil is a lot to her ha ha). This is the softest and most recoil-absorbing pad I have ever seen!It is a bit on the ugly side, but I suppose if it works I can let that slide...I only gave it 4 stars because the description claimed that it fits any size stock - this was a major selling point to me because I had cut the stock to custom-fit to my daughter's size. Unfortunately, the pad is WAY too big - it doesn't even come close to staying on. I had to stuff a scrap of foam in the side of it to give it enough tension to stay on the stock, which makes it look ever more ugly.Bottom line though is that it works, and it works very well. My daughter is extremely pleased with it and feels very comfortable putting her 50 pounds behind the the stock and squeezing off as many rounds as she pleases. I would definitely recommend this recoil pad to anyone who needs some major recoil reduction. Just don't get it if the stock is an smaller than a standard stock...

I cannot begin to describe the incredible difference shooting a high power shotgun with this gel pad is. The first two times out at the range I came back home in pain and bruises on both of my shoulders after only one 25-cartridge box. Even though I was giddy excited to go back to the range, I was also dreading it. I decided to check online for options. I came across a few options but those were mostly model or brand specific and required replacing the stock pad. I honestly didn't want to mess with that. I then ran into this model and figured it would be worth the shot. Worst-case it wasn't a big investment. To my utter surprise this gel pad worked amazingly well. I shot over 200 rounds and came back home with zero pain, much less any bruising. The best part it's slip-on, so I can put it not just on my M2, but on other rifles as well. Wholly recommend it.

i have this gel pad fitted on my AR-15 stock and could care less about the occasional jeer i get from tough guys who are like, "but AR-15s don't HAVE any recoil!" they're the ones with purple bruises all up and down their fat folds in their shoulder/breast area! more than one of those tough guys watch me shoot tiny groupings, maybe try out my gun, and then they ALL ask me where i got this recoil pad. LOL, you know tough guys, they're soft as gel pads.this pad is the truth. i never minded the recoil on any rifle or shotgun i've ever fired, but truth be told, why mark up your body and irritate your skin if you don't have to? this pad allows you to comfortably fire for hours on end. if you're firing .308 or bigger, all the more reason to get one of these! and if you have a wife/gf who shoots, this will make them HAPPY. if you have kids who shoot, this will make them HAPPY. the recoil pad comes with removable cushion pads on the inside so you can adjust the squishiness to your liking. i find that it actually allows for a snugger, tighter, and steadier weapon hold which helps a great deal with accuracy--especially when firing from a non-supported position. in addition, if you ever put your weapon on a sling and run around with it for a training course or combat or whatever your purpose, this recoil pad keeps the stock from digging a hole into you chest or hip or wherever your stock rests when you move around. it's a fantastic product and i'll buy one for every stock i own!

This is a really nice recoil pad. I bought it to lessen recoil and to add a little length to a Remington 700 .270 with a synthetic stock, shims didn't work I decided to give this a try. It worked perfectly! I was skeptical of it when I ordered it, but I was wrong to doubt it. It fit really well and greatly reduced recoil. It adds length so take that into account if you are thinking about one. It fits really tight, which I like, the worst part of it though is getting it on, but after you do, it isn't going anywhere. I added a slip over cartridge holder that covers the seam, on a black synthetic stock, I think it really looks good! I now have it on a Weatherby .243 Vanguard, and it makes recoil almost unnoticeable...
