I decided to get rid of the plastic pitchers we normally use. I purchased two of these pitchers and am very happy. They hold a lot, easy to clean because they are glass and seem to be well made. The handle/top seems to be very sturdy. Time will tell.

I got this pitcher so I could fill it each day with the amount of water I want to drink. The fill lines on the side work great when filling, and I can see my progress. The glass is heavy and sturdy and fits into the door of my fridge. I can fill it just by opening the pour spout in the top or remove the whole top. Cleaning is easy by hand or the container can go in the dishwasher. I will caution that you ensure you have the lid tightened all the way. I didn't the first time I used it and it came off while I was holding it, but luckily it didn't fall or break and I haven't had any problem since. I can't comment on how "leakproof" it is since I always keep it in my fridge, so I'm not sure how well the lid would function if jostled around or turned over. For my use I love it and would buy it again.

I actually used this to pool my breast milk each day and then portion it out into my storage bags at the end of each day. It worked great and the top was great for pouring into bags or baby bottles. Now that my breastfeeding journey has ended, it makes for a great iced coffee pitcher in my fridge :)

This is an ok pitcher and better than most glass pitchers out there, some big pro's and big cons with it over all really. I've noticed as usual sadly that most of the reviews here seem to be excessive black or white reviews, meaning they're mostly super positive or super negative.Let me give you the grey and break this down into review categories to give you a more genuine and reliable review of this product from my experience.* = 1 starDesign=*****The overall design is in my opinion is perfect for most applications. Between the jars shape design choice making it compact and easy to store and the lids design which also has a gentle taper, making it easier to pour it's contents without spilling or trapping residual fluids it's perfect. Plus it's genuinely designed to be spill safe and performs the task it's intended to do exceptionally well.Function=***It functions well but the lid secures itself rather tightly rather easily. This might not sound bat at first but sadly, once it gets that tight and is tight long enough it's incredibly difficult to remove the lid again. Without adequate strength, finess and patience, due to the design & shape of the container, removing said lid again can prove challenging.Cleanliness=***Fair easy to clean and maintain due to it's simple design and choice of materials. Simply pop in a tiny dot of dish soap and 500ml of luke warm water, grip it firmly with both hands and give it a gentle shake for a few seconds, good as new. Sadly, it is NOT dishwasher safe due to the choice of materials.Durability/Reliability=**The choice of material for the lid is basically 5 stars, again it's design is literally perfect. The Jar itself on the other hand is not what most reviewers nor even the description above claims. Sure, the design has "withstood the test of time" and the description claims it's "durable" but the claims are objectionably deceiving and the jar isn't even made of the same type of glass used in the original Ball jars. overall the glass thickness is thick enough to be reliable to contain and transport whatever it winds up containing so it's durable in that sense. However, when it comes to temperatures this product is a doozy. Though reviewers "claim" that this is dishwasher safe, it is not. Again, NO WHERE in the description does this claim to be dishwasher safe, literally no where. Nor is there any paperwork included with this product that makes such a claim. The description only tells us one thing about the jar we need to know and that it is made out of soda lime glass, which is a soft glass that literally is required to be handwashed. Just do the research yourself and you'll find this yourself (and yes, I know Pyrex is also soda lime glass, but it is "tempered," this is not.) The fact the description of this product and these other reviews give such a false sense of security is alarming and morally wrong on every level.Do not use an automatic dishwasher with this, do not introduce this to extreme heat, do not clean this under the tap at max hot then swiftly down to max cold and be very wary about using this in freezing temperatures else this has a very high chance of cracking and/or shattering.Overall=****The fact is most glass pitchers are made out of the same kinds of glass. So really finding a massive tempered soda lime glass pitcher would not only be difficult but incredibly expensive due to a variety of reasons. Compared to other glass pitchers in this price range that have lids, this is pretty much as good as it gets, so long as you know what it is you're getting in the first place and what kind of care is "actually" expected to own this.

I use these for mixing powdered milk on a daily basis. I have the large ones as well, but these are great for ice tea or any beverage. Recommend

Large, but not too huge, I can easily fit my whole fist in to clean it! Seems sturdy and fits well in my fridge door beside a 4L of milk

Feels like the glass is very heavy/durable which is great as I'm clumsy lol - the lid fits good (screws on) and I don't think it will leak at all (have not tested this though)So far really loving the look and feel of this - I also looked at Walmart & Superstore for a pitcher and couldn't find anything that looked like this good of quality (heavy duty glass)It looks like an over sized Mason jar - mouth of the pitcher is 3.25 inches
