I am a waitress at a very high volume, fast paced restaurant and I bought these shoes for the slip resistance as well as the style. They are dresser than the croc type shoes I normally wear. They also have more cushion and are very comfortable. I wore them for a 12 hour shift the first day and they didn't hurt my feet. Except for a small spot on the top of my right foot. I don't think it's the shoe however. I think my right foot has a higher arch and so it rubbed a bit. I did not slip at all all day long. They are extremely slip resistant. That part is awesome! The only reason I am not giving them a 5 star rating is because they are not waterproof or water resistant. My feet were soaked by the end of the shift. If you come in contact with little water this is the shoe for you. If you work in a place that constantly has puddles on the floor. I'm not sure I would purchase these. Overall, these are very nice. The style is slightly dressy and they are clean looking and very slip resistant.

Cons:The insole wore out in less than 3 hours on my first shift wearing them.They really need to be worn in, it took over a month before the back of the shoe didn't rub my ankles raw. (I wore cloth self adhesive bandages over the part the shoes rubbed against, and it worked out fine with no pain.)Pros:For about $30 I thought these shoes were going to last me 2 months. So far they have lasted me 3 1/2 months and are just now showing signs of breaking down.It is the best slip resistance I have had in a pair of shoes as of yet.Water has been splashed on them multiple times and not once as it soaked through.--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------I work a kitchen job where I run around a lot, and do a lot of cleaning.I am standing the whole time I am at work and I even walk to work.I kill shoes like no one's business.I need shoes that can make it so I don't have to worry about slipping on a freshly mopped floor. It's nice when I don't end up with a soaked sock thanks to the mop bucket spilling over onto my foot.I've bought expensive work shoes before and they had problems left and right but these shoes held up better than most of the expensive pairs.I bought my shoes in early may 2018 and the reason I am reviewing these shoes now(august 2018) is because they have just now started to part at the outer sole. Unlike every other pair of shoes I've had, that part at the toe and with one little kick had the whole sole split from the shoe, this part are parting at the area where the crease is when a crouch down and stand on my toes.So honestly I could wear these shoes out for a while longer and probably will just to find out how long they will last until they are really coming apart.They aren't the prettiest pair of shoes and WILL NOT be comfortable on their own (get a good insole, I can not express this enough) but if you need a pair to get your through your job then this will last almost anything you throw at them. Only thing they can't handle is cornmeal on tile.So I am buying another pair and gonna update when I figure out how long this pair will last until the outer sole can give all it can.

I bought these for work and put them on after steeling myself to dance around my house all night and nurse blisters tomorrow to break them in properly. And then they just...fit. They're just the right amount of supportive and cushioned. Bonus: I thought they were mesh on top, but they are going to serve me well in the muddy streets of New Orleans!

Big Pluses:Great material!Durable!Sole is comfy!Worth the price you’re paying!THE ONE DRAWBACK: I personally have a high instep and my feet are a bit on the WIDER SIDE so because of this these shoes hurt my feet tremendously, I’m a Sous Chef at a busy restaurant so I’m on my feet MANY HOURS out of the day so I couldn’t wear them. I’d recommend these shoes If you don’t have a high instep or wide feet.

They are true to size but very uncomfortable. After only a day of wear, the bottom of my feet hurt so bad I had to take them off an hour before my 8 hour shift ended. Also, they start to hurt at the back of my ankle when I walk. This pain continued after I took them off. A coworker purchased the same shoes unbeknownst to me and she Was experiencing the same issues. I only wore them for 3 days and opted out for my converse chuck taylors instead. They aren’t slip resistant but they feel so much better.

I was surprised that these shoes were so comfortable. The price was very reasonable. Arrived within two days.

I didn't realize that there are "shiny accent pieces" on the shoes. I do not like them. The shoes were hard on the back of my ankles for the first couple of weeks (it took that long to start breaking them in). Of all the slip-ons I have bought from Payless over the years, these are probably my least favorite.

Was hesitant because of reviews But I Love these shoes. Use them for work(some days it’s a lot of sitting some days a lot of standing). I wear a 8.5 ordered a 9 and the fit is perfect!!! I’ll buy these over and over again
