This is a really attractive product. It's the same black color as black ceramic cook tops. I purchased it because I wanted to be able to set pots or pans on it instead of directly on top of the stove itself. And it is advertised as a 'stove cover'. I really loved it. But I'm posting this review as a cautionary tale. My brand new Samsung stove has the knobs in the front. Since the accident, I discovered online that there have been many complaints (and perhaps lawsuits) against Samsung because these front-placed knobs are turned on too easily. You can guess the rest: I accidentally brushed up against the front burner knob and unintentionally turned it on. I had this beautiful stove cover on that side of the stove. I was sitting in my living room when I heard an explosion, which sounded like shattering glass. It scared me half to death. I ran into the kitchen and discovered that the stove top product had heated to the point that it burst into a million pieces. They covered my entire hardwood floor and event the adjoining hallway. Some of the pieces were so hot they stuck onto the hardwood. I had to pry them out with a screwdriver, and they left ugly burn marks on the floor. The floor will have to be screened and recoated now. I am just thankful that no one was in the kitchen at the time this happened. It could have resulted in serious injury! I really can't recommend this product if you have a stove like mine. It's just too much of a safety hazard. For other stove types, I can say you won't be disappointed...

I wanted something to protect new kittens who might explore a hot cooktop when I'm not looking. Its durable, it fits. It works. It looks really REALLY nice. Could not imagine anything more perfect. What a relief. Now if only my husband would use it consistently, too.

I purchased this product after my husband dropped a jar of pickles on the glass stovetop causing a crack. This product perfectly matches the stove and covers the crack nicely.

I am over the moon with these covers! They are PERFECT! I have coils burners and they fit over my GE stove perfectly. The feet are high enough that they don't touch the coils and low enough that they are hidden. It makes for a very slick, clean and streamlined look; like a glass top stove! I highly recommend these, they are easy to remove and clean too.

I have this over my gas burners on my stove. It adds usable space in my small kitchen. It easily moves when I need to use it for a cutting board etc. It’s a bit fragile but it works great.

These are light weight and can be used to cover my new induction cook top. It can be used as a cutting surface and to place objects on until I need to use the stove to cook my meals. I can cover part of the cook top while I use the stove for small cooking jobs. These are perfect for protecting my induction cook top.

We purchased two to sit over our electric stovetop when not in use. They blend right in and provide a nice added barrier to keep the stovetop cleaner especially with pet hair flying around. I like utilizing them for mobile counter space while I’m cooking, I can set prepped items on top and then shift around as needed to make room.

Very impressive visually. My stovetop glass was cracked so I got this to go over it and hide it when not using the stove, and it did the trick perfectly. If you also have an unsightly burner area due to damage, this is a good fix. Gives you another work surface right on your stovetop. Sturdy quality and visually impressive too.
