Brilliant invention... The wind has been awful, but my parasol is just swaying. Usually it would be over the fence

This is a superb product that is easy to fit and helps to reduce movement of the umbrella in light wind conditions. We couldn’t use our 3x4m umbrella with even the slightest breeze, but these straps work well to reduce movement of the canopy and we are now able to use the umbrella more often. Yes the instructions are in German and you do need a screw fixing in the lower section of the main upright pole to fit the bottom strap but the pictures on Amazon show you how the product is easily fitted and we had no problems.

Useful but too expensive for what it is

This umbrella is large and will provide great shade where needed. It is easy to set up and I would advise buying a sturdy base. In windy conditions the umbrella swings alot but you can purchase straps that fit perfectly and hold it still. It would be good if these were supplied with the umbrella. Great product well worth the money paid.

well designed, easy to assemble. Think where you are tying it as the opposite extensions better therefore the cords do not get in the way

Excellent product

Bought this to stabilise my parasol canopy when windy... the only instructions are in German and a critical fitting which clamps the band to the upright pole is not include !!! Without it - the straps are useless as they just move .... so I had to improvise by drilling the pole to attach a hook for the strap... it’s also a pain to fit - if your canopy fabric is screwed to the end of the support bars rather than in say a pocket - these have to be unscrewed to release the fabric canopy so the holding strap eyelet can be slid on to to the support bar - non of this was clear when buying the product - if your looking for an easy solution to stabilise your canopy in the wind - I’d give this a miss

I bought 3 sets of these. The 2 sets in use work very well but when I opened the 3rd pack today ( a year after buying them all) I found that the 3rd set is missing the two parts which affix to the ends of the parasol arms (second pocturr), rendering the set useless and not, therefore, of merchantable quality. Despite the time lag this is unacceptable and in terms of Consumer Protection Legislation Amazons time restricted returns policy is irrelevant. I will pursue Amazon for a refund, replacement or supply of the missing parts.

Je peux enfin mettre mon parasol déporté (3mx3) sans crainte lorsqu'il y a du vent (modéré tout de même), le parasol "tangue" beaucoup moins qu'avant

Struttura stabile e ben costruita. Ripara bene sia dal sole che dalla pioggia. Facile da montare e materiali di qualità.

Meinen großen Sonnenschirm konnte ich nur noch unter Beobachtung öffnen, da immer wieder starke Windböen diesem arg zugesetzt haben. Zum Glück ist noch nichts daran gebrochen, denn ein Ersatz oder Neukauf geht ja doch ganz schön ins Geld. Durch Zufall bin ich auf diese Spanngurte aufmerksam geworden und habe mir sie sofort bestellt. Die Montage ist eine Kleinigkeit und geht schnell von statten. So, nun kommt es. Selbst bei dir stärksten Windböe blieb der Schirm gerade. Kein bisschen wackeln, was für mich unglaublich war beziehungsweise ist. Wir sind alle glücklich und der Schirm kann offen bleiben, selbst immer mal 15 Minuten um die Ecke in den Supermarkt geht. Die Gefahr, dass, wenn man heimkommt der Schirm gebrochen ist, ist vorbei. Und wir sind glücklich deshalb meine Empfehlung für alle die größere eckige Sonnenschirme haben. Kauft euch dieses Zusatzteil
