LOVE this monitor
LOVE this monitor. I decided to go with this monitor instead of a dual 23" set up and i dont regret it. I dont have ANY issue with glare and the screen becoming a mirror because it's glossy. Image quality on this monitor is great. The color is great, i had to dim the brightness a little as it was too bright in my opinion. I was only able to overclock this monitor to 100hz =\ but its ok still works like a charm. The downsides i can see this monitor has is the stand. The stand is NOT BAD... but also not the best either. Its a little flimsy in my opinion and could be a bit sturdier but nothing too drastically poor. The major issue with this monitor was the power supply/cord that came with it. Since it is a Korean brand monitor it came with a korean power cord and a US power adapter.... that adapter did not fit well into my power surge or anything else. so often times the power would cut out and my monitor would shut off.THERE IS A SUPER EASY FIX FOR THIS! i just replace the cord with another simple power cord. Nice panel but bad enclosure
The Good: The Samsung panel on this monitor is very nice. I have 2 Dell IPS and I think this looks much better. I played some Titanfall on it and thought it look great. I didn't notice any lag. Nvidia control panel allowed me to push the refresh rate up to 105 MHz with no artifacts or frame skipping. The panel alone is worth the $300 I paid. The Bad: The panel case and stand are pretty bad. The stand plate has just one screw on the bottom to connect it to the post and the hole didn't line up. Attaching it was difficult and it never seemed tight enough. It also had a second hole for no apparent reason. There is a dummy power button on the front of the monitor. If you think it's a real button and push it too hard the button pops off and falls into the enclosure. The panel moves inside of the enclosure when when I press on the screen. It is not firmly mounted. There is a ton of back light bleed. Normally I'm not picky about the light bleed but I'd say at least 20% of the screen is lit up.It's hard for me to recommend this monitor but I suppose if you can live with everything I mentioned above it would be worth the price.

Excellent display, flimsy plastic case.
Excellent monitor. I bought two of them and while they do have some flaws I'd recommend them to anyone looking for a 1440p monitor that can be overclocked to 96hz+.Pros:Beautiful displayOverclocking was as easy as changing a value in the Nvidia Control Panel. No dead pixels.Cons:The plastic casing is kind of flimsy.Have to take the plastic bezel off and lift the display panel slightly in order to completely remove the stand. I put both my monitors on VESA mounts so I had to do this.Small amounts of backlight bleed. The panel kind of moves around if you shake the monitor. Could fix it but I haven't gotten around to it yet.Basically all of the cons have nothing to do with the display itself (minus the backlight bleed).

Glorious display surrounded by cheap plastic.
Stunning display. I put it side by side with my Thunderbolt Display and had a hard time deciding which was more sharp. So as far as the display: amazing and razor sharp. Do not hesitate if your main priority is picture clarity. The monitor gets five stars solely based on price and display quality. The monitor stand is a different story. It's pretty cheap. I wasn't worried about it breaking under the monitor weight or anything, it just didn't feel as solid as other monitors I have used. It also didn't tilt, which could be a deal breaker for people who don't want to buy an after market stand. My display came loose from the bezel and had to be sent back. I eventually ended up with an Acer WQHD but I still think about the display of this monitor and have some regrets at not buying it again.

The QX2710 is a great monitor
PROS:Great picture qualityHigh pixel density makes even the smallest text easy to readEasy to overclockLow input lagCONS:Light bleed is easy to notice if you look at the display from an angleBlacks could be darkerIt's a mirror during the dayOther thoughts:I bought this monitor with hopes that I could get clearer crisper images while playing games and watching video and reading. It's an amazing difference from 1080p. It overclocked better than I expected it to. And what I mean by "Blacks could be darker" it's merely that I can notice light bleed so it doesn't make the blacks black, it makes then black with light.

but it doesn't effect the screen at all and in the end that's pretty much the only thing that counts
Okay quality monitor. Lack of available inputs, and one of the buttons when depressed stuck permanently. For the price I expected a tad bit higher quality, but it doesn't effect the screen at all and in the end that's pretty much the only thing that counts. I would have also liked to have a U.S. standard monitor adapter cable, but it's not like most of us don't have dozens of these laying around anyways.

Absolutely beautiful. I would have a seriously hard time going back to 1080p after this monitor. My monitor hit 110hz without issues(I daily it at 96hz). I started getting pixel corruption at 115hz.Pros:Beautiful 1440p screen.Overclocked as described. No dead/stuck pixels.Colors are awesome.Cons:The stand is flimsy and cheap (not really an issue for me as I have it Vesa mounted to the wall).I absolutely would not get the glossy version again. This is my first one and if there's ANY light in the room, the blacks will act as a mirror.
