I'm the fifth owner of a misunderstood hound. I adopted her when she was 5 years old and she apparently never had a true structured life or training. I 've had her for going on 21/2 years and been consistent in commands and training.There are a few idiocentricies I'm unable to correct when traveling in my truck. At first it was her constant whining, and pacing. Much we've worked out on our 10,000 mile journey this year. The one thing I couldn't correct is her barking at every rest stop when I took a break after walking her.After using the training collar for a day I found she had calmed her barking. Instead of the "no bark collar" I wanted something I could control and use verbal command. I never had to resort to the shock stimulus. Either the beep or vibrate worked well. I removed the collar after 12 hours. At the end of the following day there was a small but minor relapse in her memory, but just putting the device collar on she remembered her training.The training device worked very well. The key is proper guidance and consistency in commands.

It is fine for what we needed but buyers needed to know it is set up for 2 dogs so make sure collar and trainer piece are compatible to each other. The only other thing would like to know if it al would be possible to get 2 of the controllers as sometimes hubby has him outside but does not or cannot see where he is at but I can see him from the house but do not have one of the controllers. We are so amazed on how easy and quickly we trained our dog. He is 18 months old and we have trained him somewhat, but when he's around other dogs he refuses to listen. After a few days of using this collar in our yard (and never even used the shock once, just sound and vibration) we took him to the dog park and he came immediately when we called - not even needing to use the beep or vibrate.We've only had it a week and haven't used it in water or anything, but as far as I can tell seems to be a very quality product. Nice that both the collar and remote can charge at the same time. One thing I would like different is if the shock button could be protected or turned off so it doesn't get used accidentally.

Overall, it seems like it is a decent device, however within the first few times of using it, the tone button stopped working. I’m going to try to get a new one, and try it out one more time because it does seem to work well otherwise.And, regarding the construction of the shock buttons being on the side of the handheld device: I would actually argue that it is more likely someone will accidentally touch those buttons because if you’re holding it, it’s very easy to accidentally press it. I’m not sure where would be the ideal place to put the shock button, (maybe on the very top?), but I know that we have already by accidentally shocked the dog with the buttons in this location since it seems easier to hold the device with your fingers wrapped around it.But, I’ll guess I’ll be able to do a more thorough review once I replace the old device with a new one, and see if it lasts longer.

This product only lasts for a few days. Can't get them to last more than 5 months. This is my third one and my Labrador was in the pond when it cracked and began vibrating on her.

We live near the beach and often walk our dog there so the collar being waterproof was important. Easy to charge and the charge lasts for a couple of weeks for us (we use the collar every other day). My one complaint is the buttons are hard to read (the buttons are stamped with a sign to indicate which is the power button, which is the sound/vibration/zap but the stamp is the same color as the button so it takes some close looking in the beginning to figure out which is which)

Unit functions. The collar portion is very cheap shiny plastic. Remote is comfortable and functional. It does not have differant size prongs for long vs short hair dogs. It would not make contact through my Great Dane's relatively short hair. Not a big issue since we use the vibrate or beep exclusively. Points of prongs are very sharp and I believe will cause issues on his neck in the future. The supplied wrench and tester does not fit the prongs for tightening. I am on the fence and may send it back as the other unit I bought for less money is a MUCH better quality setup.

Works as advertised. Our doing responded well to the vibrations and improved his behavior significantly. Our’s is a large lab, and the collar was larger enough. I would like to see a nylon strap vs. the plastics one that comes with the unit. Nylon is easier to work with and more comfortable for the dog. Overall, a good value product, and I would recommend it.

Works very well. For a 50 pound dog used once as shock on 10 then 20 and now listens to the beep or the vibrate. Ran after a rabbit and vibrate at 30 and came back surprisingly. Get for off Lead training so far...

This collar far exceeded my expectations!! I have had very expensive trainer in the past and this one was much more effective and has 4 modes. Great value and quality!

The remote does not transmit a signal to elicit a response in the collar. This was an issue upon receiving to product. After contacting amazon, there was nothing they could do in regard to sending me a new shipment of the product to replace my broken unit. Extremely disappointed with the service and product I have received and definitely would not recommend this brand or product to anyone. 50$ down the drain.

J’ai reçu le collier mais je n’ai pas pu aller chez mon dresseur. Quand j’ai pu aller.... j’ai changé les batteries.....malheureusement, j’étais pas mal déçue quand je me suis aperçu qu’elles ne gardaient pas la charge. Et trop tard pour le retourner
