Fantastic to print with and nice marble effect finish.
The media could not be loaded. Hassle free print on my Bambu Carbon printer. Lovely marble finish 0.16 layer hight on model pictured.

Not for beginners
If you're new to 3d printing, I'd advise leaving this for a while. You'll want to be confident on changing the print settings, particularly how temp and speed affect things. You'll also want to be confident at manually levelling the bed and have a good idea of how you're going to deal with poor bed adhesion. I ended up spending an afternoon printing off a lot of benchies on rafts. From what I can tell with my own experience, the reviews here and elsewhere, the exact settings vary from spool to spool. So while some people got lucky and by chance had the right settings, or the first ones they tried were the right ones, there's somewhere between 30-80 possible combinations within the recommended limits.Stringing is an issue. The model in the pic is after I'd spent 15 mins of sanding.Bed adhesion was a nightmare, but I eventually got the settings dialed in and avoided printing anything in an orientation where the height was more than half the base, eg I printed this model on its side.Good crisp details. The above is at a layer height of 0.24mm, rather than a more sensible lower setting. (The model is about 8cm tall.) Successfully sanded down the layer lines without needing any primer - which is important as the route of primer and sanding would wreck the wood effect. Similarly I've mostly stuck to printing things either in one piece, or that will easily fit together, as using filler in the gaps is also going to ruin the wood effect. It does look like wood, though no grains in my prints. Although it contains wood, it doesn't smell like it to me. Kind of feels like it, though the low weight means it would have to be balsa wood. Wood staining just made it a bit darker for me. But re-reading the product description, the claim is just a visual effect.Overall, it looks cool. But it's finicky and needs a reasonable amount of experience to get and clean up a decent print.I do wonder if it might be easier to just use a normal PLA and then paint it the wood colour of your choice?

Always brilliant
I print a fair amount and usually of the same item and can say Esun PLA is the best out there, i have tried many other brands but the quality isn't the same, they leave strings and sometimes they have overlapped spools, i had one that just wouldnt print as it kept blocking up the nozzel but never had an issue with Esun.

It's Gro000ot
The media could not be loaded. My Daughter requested I print a Groot so I thought it would be a good opportunity to try "wood" filament. I opted for the esun 0.5kg spool as I didn't want a great quantity and I'm pleased I did. Once I dialled in the settings with a few test prints 215°c nozzle - 60°c bed on my pei plate it ran flawlessly on my 1st try. I did .15 resolution at 60mms 15% infill which took about 6 1/2hrs on my flsun delta and bed adhesion was excellent throughout the print with minimal stringing which cleaned up nicely in post. The "wood" effect is ok & does give the print a nice texture which will be enhanced when painting commences. All in all I have no problem in recommending this filament, my only complaint is there is not more colour options available in this range.

Very nice Wood filament with correct settings
The wood filament is very nice, hut only when you have the correct settings in your slicer. After contacting esun due to my stringing issue they said it does happen a lot with this filament no matter what settings you have. But they gave me a chart to go by and recommended temps which I found were rather high (190-220 - even up to 230c). Hopefully this chart and settings I used on me ender 3 will help others.Ender 3 - retraction: 7.5 speed 50 print temp 180 bed 70 with brim. Also make sure you have made a new material details for this filament like in cura otherwise it'll go by the normal pla settings which are higher than what wood is (see chart info).I was also storing the filament in a heated filament storage box by sunlu at 50-51c with a modification of a fan blowing the heat around the filament. For the stringing issue, I found heating with a heat gun of 100-200c cleared most of it up, but keep the gun moving. Then cleaning the rest with a craft knife.

Terrible. Adhesion issues & brittle
It's a roulette printing with this filament. I've had countless issues with it snapping in the bowden tube, the spool itself actually being tangled. Ended up just throwing this in the recycling. Has put me off eSun filament. Will stick to creality, prusa & elegoo in future.

Lovely colour but has terrible stringing.
I have used all sorts of PLA(about 20 different colours) with no problems at all but this one seems to have terrible stringing on every print I do. The colour and the feel is like wood though.

Molto valido

Great PLA!
Looks good and works great. It can be a bit expensive compared to other filaments but it's worth the price.

Pla legno
