I am not going to discredit any negative reviews. I will speak only to my own experience with this hearing aid. First of all, it's affordable. Second, the shipping was fast. It took about 4 days total. Third, I took a chance and purchased 10 extra batteries (size A 10) Fourth, I am 56 years old and lost my hearing from the constant noise from heavy equipment around me for 25 years. Here is my review. Before I used this hearing aid: I have moderate hearing loss, meaning when someone is speaking to me at a close distance (within 10 feet) I can hear them, but I can not make out what they are saying as far as syllables and nouns, adjectives, etc... It is only a muffled sound of syllables and nouns and adjectives. I often think I know what they're saying, but it's a guess. Now I work a part-time job on a military base. I have to enter through heavy security gate in my car were they ask me questions every time I enter the gate. I can barely hear them. I had to put a sign above my car window that reads, "Please speak loud. Hard of hearing." Wearing this hearing aid: So, after putting this hearing aid in my left ear, and turning the volume to 1/2 of its turn on the dial, I can hear everything people say within 10 to 15 feet. There is very minimal background noise, but there is some, but it's not overwhelming. Someone's voice carries over any background noise and comes through clearly. What's also great about this hearing aid is the pickup mic is at my ear, not behind my ear like other "over the ear" hearing aids are. I can easily to narrow in exactly where a sound or voice is coming from. My hearing is centrally balanced between my head where the combined sound from both ears belongs. To turn it on, just close the battery door. To turn it off, open the battery door. The battery goes in the "bump side down" and "flat side up" position (size A 10). I haven't had this hearing aid long enough to tell you how long the battery lasts. I don't use it all day long. I only use it when I need to leave the house. I will update this in about 7 days from now, today is: Sunday, July 19, 2020. Conclusion: This hearing aid is worth the money. The seller is excellent about getting it shipped fast. There is no problem with the seller. My rating is 5 stars on everything about this review.

Did not work. Sound was way too quiet even at full volume. Sizing is nice and easy to use but definitely disappointed

Update on 06/21: I contacted the company and gave them the failure details. They quickly responded with some suggestions I had already tried. They proceeded to mail me a new hearing aid and I received it yesterday, overnight shipping! The new aid works well with no squealing or feedback in the ear. I am really impressed with the customer care I received for a product that costs not much! (Original review) I followed the instructions and had little trouble using this aid. It took a while to get the right earpiece fit and learn how to eliminate the feedback and adjust volume but I was doing good with watching TV a few hours a day. I was using the included second battery - the first one lasted about 20 hours - and it just stopped working. Just dead, no sound at all. I tried another battery - yes, I had ordered more and now I'm stuck with them - and no sound, just dead period. Well it was an interesting experiment. I may order another brand because I really did appreciate the sound boost to my one affected ear. I wasn't expecting much but this wasn't a performance pleaser.

So, I unfortunately had sudden hearing loss in my left ear about 85DB but I can hear perfect in my right ear. My left ear I can still hear high frequency sounds ok (like whistles and squeels), and can hear regular sounds if they're really loud. I got this because I wanted to do more of a test to see if some hearing amplification can help me. Anyways, I put it in my left ear, turned the volume to the max, and I hear the feedback whistles but not much else. After the whistles are gone, I don't hear any amplification of sound, despite still being able to hear a regular speaker if I'm right next to it. This tells me the hearing aid isn't able to get loud enough for my needs. I decided to test it and put in my good ear for a few seconds (at full volume). The hearing aid didn't seem to make anything louder, rather it just made quiet noises louder, but normal volume noises and such weren't amplified. It seems it has some audio compression going on to where it won't allow the hearing aid to get above "normal" audio levels. This is not what I expected a hearing aid to do. So instead of a hearing aid, this is more like a quiet sound amplifier, which for some people might be useful. For my needs though I absolutely needed volume amplification of all sounds, not just the quiet ones. Audio quality: testing in my good ear, it sounded like I was listening to a poor quality am radio broadcast. It did not sound like reality. Which makes sense, if instead of just simple volume amplification, it is employing audio compression and normalization, then it would sound distorted. I can see it making conversations easier for those hard of hearing, but it's not going to be something you want to wear to enjoy a musical concert or something where audio fidelity is important. In summary, it's not completely useless but it is a volume compressor not a volume amplifier. If you need amplification, you'll have to look elsewhere.

I purchased for my mom (63yr), it works just 02weeks later getting more noice not audible. Product received w.o.warranty card, no seller address/contact details to reach them. Even Amazon helpless and finding difficult to reach seller. I don't know whas the meaning of 03yrs warranty.... No seller name, address, contact number, warranty card.... I loss the hope...

Could not get it fixed in my city. Can you replace it or send me a refund.
