I'm a sucker for safety, and was headed on a long road trip up the Pacific Coast. So I thought I'd give this product a try.I was expecting an interesting idea with an expectedly low quality effort. But I was very pleasantly surprised when I opened the box and started playing around with this thing. (I had mistakenly thought it was made in China, but it's actually from South Korea.) It is very well made. Thick, heavy plastic throughout. Very strong magnets (that are coated in a thin layer of rubber/silicone, to keep it from scratching the paint on your car). Bright LEDs, good battery capacity. It even comes in its own plastic protective case that guards it very well without taking up any more space than necessary. And (as an electronics engineer, my favorite feature) an actual on/off button. Most devices use a simple momentary button. But that means the device is always on in some capacity, as its "brain" has to be watching to see if that button gets pressed. It wastes batteries, and will cause them to leak battery acid after a while. But if you use an actual "click" or non-momentary switch, then it breaks the connection to the battery when switched to off. That way it doesn't drain the batteries when not in use, and won't guarantee they'll leak after a while. I have other roadside emergency equipment that uses a simple momentary button, and I have to take the batteries out of those devices while they're in the case in the back of my car, otherwise the batteries will be dead when I really need them; which makes them take longer to deploy in an emergency.Whoever designed this product deserves their million dollars. It's well designed and executed.While I've been lucky enough to not yet need this product in an emergency, after about eight months of ownership, I can say I am very happy I purchased it and would do so again without a second thought.

I really didn't know what to expect when ordering this, I'm glad I did now, it is very bright even in the daytime and gives off a good visual to oncoming cars and trucks. The magnets are strong, and it comes in a carry storage tube to keep it from getting damaged. If people don't see this coming, then they are not looking at the road.

I was very disappointed that it was not waterproof. For traffic safety, this is too small to be effective if you were on the highway. It should be pretty good, if you were to use it on a local road. It does look pretty cool. I like the case.

The system is very simple and very versatile. The fact that you can swing the arms out to make the directional arrow or leave them in to create a traffic direction stick makes traffic control quick easy, and safer. With the magnets on the base, i was able to change the light pattern, which you have three, stick it to the side of my truck, and tend to the accident I was responding to. The multiple leds are very bright which is what you want in the daytime and for sure at night. I have no doubt that this will last for a very long time. The other great benefit is that, the system runs off of AA batteries so its easy to keep the system in service. I will be ordering more. One note I will make about the magnets, they are not strong enough to hold if the vehicle is in motion. The 3 stars for weatherproof is because I have yet to have it out in the weather to say if it is or isnt.

Works very well for the purpose I intended. Has increased revenue at our private paid parking lot by giving clear direction to drivers. Very bright the magnets work very well and batteries last for long time - over a week with daily use. I did not buy this product for emergency roadside use, however I believe it would work very well for that. 5 stars all the way... I hope they make a larger model, perhaps twice the size, in the future.

OMG! I can't tell you enough HOW MUCH I love this item. I make so many random stops outdoor, either because I can't park properly if I'm in a rush or needs to deliver something, and this is SO helpful. When I am using this, I see it my rear miror many cars behind me from a far turning the lane as they see the red arrow ON. It's so EASY to use. What I do is that I keep this red light in my front car and when I need to make a stop, i just take it out the car box and i roll that my driver window and I just put it on my door. You don't need to go out of the car to put it. Just roll down the window to do it safely!!

Don't use it alot but when I have it makes a big difference. I drive tow truck and plenty of lighting but people need something like this to tell them to move over..... Use it while on busy highways and roads.

Having held it in my hands , and played with it. it seems to be good quality and bright.At about 50$can , it is a bit over priced for what it is.Good and useful tool for any car safety kit.I would consider buying again, but at a lesser price.
