The Dark World is a great pedal for anyone who wants all types of reverb from one single pedal on their pedal chain.Excellent Collaborative DesignThis pedal is the first fully digital pedal from Chase Bliss Audio. In looking at the intricate design of this pedal, it's no wonder they turned to some friends for a little assistance. This pedal features two distinct channels. The Dark channel was designed by Cooper FX, with some inspiration from their Generation Loss and Outward designs. The World channel was designed by Keeley Electronics, and sports three lovely kinds of reverb. With this much effort and brilliance packed into one pedal, you can be sure it's worth every penny. Broad Palette of Reverb SoundsThe dual-channels of this device are selectable with the two metallic footswitches at the bottom. The Dark channel sports a three way switch to select the reverb program you want. You can choose between Mod, Shim, and Black for markedly different types of reverb sounds. Once you've picked your poison, Modify and Decay knobs help you fine tune to get exactly what you're looking for. The World channel lets you select between Spring, Plate, and Hall reverb, with a Dwell and Pre-Delay knob to shape them.Advanced FeaturesAt the center of the Dark World is the Mix and Tone controls, used to shape both channels. The three-way selector switch in the middle is used when both channels are active and sets them in parallel, or in series in whichever order you choose. The toggle beneath that recalls either of two presets, while the middle position reflects the current position of the controls on the pedal.
