I brought these for a Xmas present for the other half and he loves them! He goes green laning a lot and is not happy he has them with his matching tow strap

They now live permanently on my vehicle and not only add to the aesthetics but are really strong and useful when off road

Wonderful piece of equipment. By far the most thought out shackles I've bought. Well presented and most definitely solid. The only issue I would point out is the posting of these in their original box. ie.....no outer packaging. The box and its contents were also NOT sealed shut with tape so could be opened or likely open during postage transit. Fortunately all goods within the box were still present but I was somewhat astonished and concerned by the lack of secure postal packaging of these expensive quality items. Would be 5stars but for this oversight. Otherwise very pleased with purchase.

Green looks cool, these work really well - already gotten me and others out of sticky situations a few times now so I can genuinely say after using these a few times that they're great. Seems like they'll last me a lifetime and maybe my kids after me...

Not tested to destruction yet!!! These shackles are an upgrade from the standard 4 3/4 ton SWL that you can get anywhere. The 68000lb listed is a breaking strain, they handle 8 tons swl in recovery (not lift). They look pretty (remains to be seen how long that lasts in use, though) and the coating is thick and well applied. They arrive with plastic washers that are designed to stop the shackle fro rattling when attached to a towing eye but out of use. This is a good idea for those that leave their shackles attached to the front or rear of the vehicle, but I would recommend removing the shackles when not in use - it stops corrosion in the threads which may jam the shackle or invisibly weaken it, not to mention the bright red coating is an invitation for theft! The casting/die pressing is a bit rougher than I expected, but not detrimentally so, and machining on the faces is good enough. They come well packaged with a note of charity donation and a leaflet about responsible off roading - and a tool box sticker which is essential! Overall I'm fairly impressed - good value and a a very reasonable product that I would recommend.
