This review is for all of his books. There are so many books out there from authors with questionable credentials that it’s nice to have these four succinct books from someone who’s been in the thick of it his entire career. I love how he describes his experience in having to create mix after mix without having the chance to reflect much on them, and churning out big hits while he was at it. He seems to be operating with the same methodology here, which is to say what needs to be said and wrap it up. But they’re not “tips and tricks” books, there is real substance here, and I learned a ton. These are all at the top of my list of mixing books, and I have transcribed notes from all of them so I’ll have them in front of me when I mix.

I believe this book is great if your just getting into mixing or are just searching for a fresh take on some mixing ideas to add depth to your music. I wish this book was slightly longer though.

I loved this book .. Have read all three books of Thomas Juth now .It would be great if there is a book on how to approach a song for mixing .. and how to go about mixing from start to finish .Would be great if there are separate books for each genre :) .. Just an idea :)Waiting for the next one . Cheers !!

Sometimes, we need to be reminded of mixing basics that we may have forgotten. Thomas offers useful tips that I will try in my studio. Some of the information was new to me... some was a necessary reminder. $2.99 is a small price to pay for great information. I will probably read his other books.

Took me less than half an hour to read and was packed with great ideas. I opened up one of my mixes and incorporated some of his suggestions and they worked like a charm.I would recommend you have some experience with mixing and critical listening, but it's not a requirement. I work on electronic music and I was feeling that my mixes were a bit 2D, not bad per se, but needing an extra bit of depth. I tried just piling on more effects,etc, but that just seemed to clutter everything up. The simple recipes that Thomas gives helped me straighten my mix out very quickly.

Short, concise, and full of great ideas. It's a quick read that will get your gears turning and inspire you to get creative in the studio

Very short book with a few tips and tricks to help engineers get the most out of their mix. I liked the inclusion of specific plugins which gave me a direct reference for the next time I mix.

Concise , brief and easily understood, this book would probably benefit anyone trying to create a three dimensional mix. A useful read!

Excellent little book on depth creation. I learnt some new tricks that I want to try out and make a part of my workflow. Some stuff I knew already but it’s always good to brush up on the fundamentals. Thank you for creating this wonderful resource.

Well wriiten book on mixing ... Easy to und er stand . If you need more than a short introduction you might look somewhere else.
