Great read for poor saps on night shift or any shift really..
This was a hilarious read. If you have ever listened to any of the lyrics of any songs from the darkness, you should not be expecting actual cohesive advice. Lower the philosophical expectations and laugh at the absurdly helpful snippets of ... can I call it wisdom.. supplied here.

Anything The Darkness related will get a 5 star from me. Fun read, and good insight into Frankie's life.

Great read
If you're a fan of the band you'll enjoy this. Sadly wish it spent more time on the story of the band but he had a hell of a story to tell.

Hilarious
This book is a gem. Absolutely witty & hilarious, although I'm sure he never expected the band to actually get back together after he wrote it, which makes his honesty and openness all the more interesting and genuine. He doesn't hold back and the anecdotes are superbly entertaining. I may not splurge for the $555 copy, but it's definitely worth it to pick up one of these 15 or 20 dollar ones.

This guy is an absolute bass playing legend.Read this book and it will make you 83.6% more attractive. Being in the mere presence of it will guarantee to get you laid.

Never a dull moment!
A very funny look at the humorous life of a rock star. Plenty of "Spinal Tap" moments, written in an articulate and self effacing manner.Written before the Darkness reformed, a must for a rock fan!

In to Darkness? Read this.
Interesting insight into the rise and disintegration of one of the UK's most exciting bands. Poullain has a brisk and light writing style, which made this a whiz to read through. Very entertaining.
