Equithrive Joint (2 lb)

This is an amazing product. My horse has been on it for 6 weeks now. I just reordered it. My horse has bad arthritis in both back hock. I have tried many remedies; I had one hock injected, he's on a joint supplement, and he gets a bute every day. But he was getting stiffer and stiffer. I started him on this supplement, giving the loading dose as recommended. I could see a difference in 5 days. Now, 6 weeks later, he is moving much better. Able to bend his hocks. When I ride him, he is less stiff. More forward. We are trotting more. He is building muscle in his hind legs. I noticed today that he looks taller - I think he is putting on muscle over his back, plus I think he is carrying himself differently because he hurts less. I am really pleased. I highly recommend.

I don't do many reviews, but I feel obligated to pass on my experiences in the hope you can help your horse. My recommendation is if you have a horse with any arthritic problems, you need to try this. One of my horses has bone spavin and another one has just a little bit of arthritis in the hock. I've tried many expensive joint supplement (both recommended by vets, and homeopathic.) The one with bone spavin has had his hocks injected and other intramuscular injection remedies. When he hurts he is not as happy, does not want to move around, and obviously can't be ridden. I saw some studies on Equithrive, along with other peoples reviews, and decided to try it. I noticed an improvement in about 4 days because he seemed happier (more personality) and was running around with the other horses. I'm now riding him at a walk/trot and he is doing well. I now have my other two horses on it and the one with minor arthritis is also performing better at the lope. I am continuing to give my bone spavin guy the loading dose because it is working so well. I'm afraid to reduce it, but it is well worth the money compared to hock injections, etc.

I have my own resveratrol capsules, Layla, our Great Dane is taking her chews and finally I have Semisweet, my 21 year old appendix Quarter Horse accustomed to the taste and taking this joint protection. I started out thinking it wasn't that much of a help. But two months into using it on all of us, I feel a difference. And Semi is doing dressage and using joints and muscles like an athlete. I feel freer in motion and I have to report that I think he does too. I thank our vet for recommending trying Equithrive

I have been feeding this product for almost a year. Started it on a 3 & 14 year olds barrel racing horses. I have tried so many different joint supplements - most were like feeding air. This however works!! I was so impressed with it I put my 26 year old retired barrel horse on this who is always sore. This product has made him very comfortable. Its a fine powder with a very small scoop. My horses have no trouble eating it up, even the finicky 26 year old. Give it a try, its a great product and it works!

After having 2 failed neuretomies, my navicular horse had been on 2 gm of bute a day for about 5 years. 2 yrs ago I weaned him off of bute and on to Equithrive. Since then he has been as good as or better than he was on bute. Prior to and bute, I had tried all the other supplements but nothing worked. Hate the cost but love the product.

I think the product helped my horse's joints, but he also became very "hot" ... not normal for him. When I spoke to my veterinarian, he mentioned that the product is proven to work well for joint issues but that it also stimulates something at the cellular level (too many "big" words for me to follow) ... and has the potential to cause some horses to become too "hot" at the recommended dosage on the packaging. He suggested that I should cut back on the dosage until I find the right mix of joint health and horse temperament. Still working on that.

On my second bucket of Equithrive for my almost 30 yr old mule. The improvement is so noticeable that people we trail ride with are asking me what I am giving him. He is acting like a youngster now and I love it. We ride in hills with 10 or 20 other riders and my mule keeps up with them all. Even likes to lead the group! I highly recommend Equithrive.

Using it on two horses. Vern - 30 yrs old - retired show horse. Severe joint problems. Some days are better for the old guy than others but all in all he has shown improvement. His comfort is most important to us. Second - Claire - 20 yr old retired show horse. Claire had started to slow down and showed stiffness in pasture and with farrier. Claire now acts like a ten year old. This was suggested to us by our vet. YES - it is spendy - since we have two using it but I would not stop using it even if price went way up. Very happy with product and would suggest it to anyone who is looking for a product that works. I tried all the cheaper things - was throwing my money away.
