Disney Villain Little Mermaid Poor Unfor Paperback

Reading this book isn't one of them.Another fantastic book in an amazing series. If your a Disney villain fan, if you always wanted a deeper look into what makes your favorite villain tick these books are for you. Dark, a little twisted and an emotional roller coaster. You will find your self feeling for a broken Ursula, a product of her trauma, her pain. Fantastically well written, quick moving story that you may not be able to put down.

I was skeptical. As a big Disney fan, I wasn’t sure what to expect. I love that it ties into our Disney background knowledge and just dives deeper into the origin story. Would recommend. The book itself is beautiful with glossy and texture. Can’t wait to finish the series and have the whole set.

Wonder of wonders, I read TWO books in ONE day!! Since I had previously read The Beast Within, the second book in Serena Valentino's Disney Villains series, I moved straight onto Poor Unfortunate Soul, which, as you can see, is Ursula's story. Hers was quite an interesting one too, I'll give you that!What I am finding myself loving about this series is seeing the movie play out in a way, yet we're seeing what's happening on the villain's point of view! In Fairest of All, we were following the Queen before she turned evil and wicked. This time we are with Ursula learning what cause her to turn to her path of evil and I must say it was pretty distressing. Hers was a sad tale like that of the Queen's. This series is definitely making one feel sympathy for these classic Disney villains.The odd sisters have come to Ursula because they want her help in finding their sister, Circe, who we previously met in The Beast Within. She has since gone missing and the sisters desperately want their youngest sister to come back to them. So they agree to help Ursula in destroying Triton so that she may be the only ruler of the sea.I found that this time there was a lot of reflecting back on the last story, which was the first one I read a few years ago, so naturally my memory wasn't so hot. We see Tulip, the young girl who was going to marry the Prince before his untimely transformation into a literal beast. Tulip wasn't doing so well with from the rejection of the Prince. And we learn she had unwittingly made a deal with Ursula that will greatly effect life as she knows it.I'm beginning to realize that these odd sisters are having their own story happening and it's building with each of these books. I'm definitely eager to get to this year's release given its Odd Sisters title! Alas, I've two more villains to read about before that and I am pretty excited to read about Maleficent and Mother Gothel! Maleficent has been mentioned several times now in these two (and like the second and thus making three) books and I am really interested in reading what her story will be like and what the odd sisters will do next given the events of this last one.This Disney Villains series is definitely one a Disney fan should not be without! It's a fun and magical series that is taking the stories we love and know by heart and showing us a different angle and letting us in on a whole new story that was always happening behind the scenes!Overall Rating 5/5 stars

I love this book series so far, have read the evil queen, the beast within, and now Poor unfortunate soul. The books are very good and enjoyable.I do have to say this one was a little different and unique being this book had a lot more Stories goin on in this book instead of just dealing with Ursula. It still held on to my attention and was a very good and enjoyable read. This book has 3 different stories going on all together at once, but all feeding into the main over all story. I feel it is the shortest of the ones I have read so far so i kinda of figured it was going to be a very unique experience. Over all a good story and a pleasure to read as always, but just don’t expect the whole book to be about Ursula. Tho a good bit of it is about her, a lot of is about other dealings going on as well.

If you have been reading the books in correct order. This book is great as well! I’ve read a few bad reviews about this book and how other readers do not enjoy the other characters. Well, these characters’ development will reveal more in time- such as Circe, nanny, and tulip will be revealed in the next book: Maleficent, as to who they are and what role they have played. Which was intriguing and fun to read. Ursula was in this book everyone! It wasn’t a full on back story of her- but the author does give you a taste of the backstory of Ursula and why she turned out this way- hint! King Triton is not as he seems. The other characters truly add to the story. Don’t be quick to dismiss this book. I like the author’s characters and I liked Ursulas back story.

I love this books ,the cover is nice and smooth, detailed nice.i plan to buy more to have collection. My daughter's love them .100% recommended

I love all the books but this one especially does not speak too much about Ursula and her life. It focus more on other characters. I would've love to hear a bit more about her daily life story like the other ones. Otherwise this are a great line of books too read. Love the link that they have between one and onther.

Gift for my mom! I haven’t read it but ik she will love it. She’s a big Disney fan. The book arrived as fast and as perfect as can be!

If you wanted a story about Ursula, this ain't it.It's all about a princess named Tulip. Ursula maybe takes up a quarter of the book. It was for me a dissapointment. Maybe the series in a whole is worthwhile but not if you are like me and wanted a full book about our sassy villain.

It was a great book, really well written and very entertaining

Famous Gillian series by Disney. Must read for kids.
