Works as stated, tripod is a must, light is great.
Did some investigation in my mouth last night, very illuminating (yes, that's a pun), use this before you visit the dentist, and especially when you visit the hygienist (before and after). Works with Linux web-cam software, no drivers needed. Focus is a little tricky, but light is easy with on-cord dial for brightness. Great for kids and adults, amazing the things you can see, that you think you look at every day, when you magnify 200X.
