These are fine. HOWEVER, it is always best to dead stretch by using glass plugs or bondage tape. I learned this after buying the kit. Tapers can really hurt your ears by creating the stretch through trauma. Please keep this in mind, especially for the bigger sizes. You should never use tapers past the smaller sizes. Blunt force trauma will damage your ears. I personally had issues with the 14g when I started as the end of the tunnels are not beveled and do not follow the taper, but again you shouldn’t really use tapers. If you are looking to start stretching I recommend a pair of 14g glass plugs from body art forms. They can be found on Etsy or their website. Please take care of your ears!

I'd definitely suggest purchasing if you're a beginner and stretching your ears at home. First bought acrylic tapers, but according to everyone you should use stainless steel or titanium tapers strictly for proper healing. Stretching from a 20 (usual piercing size for earrings) to a 14 was easy per my hubby! He used this product with Jojoba oil purchased through Amazon. Would recommend either placing a hot cloth on your ears for a bit, or simply take a hot shower to help the lobes prior to starting the process. You then apply the oil of your choice over the lobe (front and back). Next you simply take the taper size your stretching to and slowly insert into your earring hole. You will feel a slight burning sensation, but it does subside. I'd recommend leaving the taper in for a few hours to a full day. Afterwards slowly remove the taper as you slide the guage into its place and walla...your done with your first stretch. 😉 Stretching further will come in about a months time. Making sure to let my ears heal properly. Will write another review with more pics when he's ready to stretch to 12!

Great quality. The plugs didn't follow the tapers well through my ears, though, but I did jump from a regular size earring to the 14g. I wish these started at 18g or 16g, but after the first stretch with the 14g tapers, my ears were ok after a few days. The plugs went in after a day or so, too.

So, great customer service! I have to say the product seems very nice so far (only been wearing them for a day and a half). My ears are not irritated by the metal, I like that there is a groove for the O-ring. I did mistakenly receive three 8mm tapers and only one 10mm taper but they were great to deal with. Will probably order more from them in other colors soon. These are so much more comfortable than the plastic tapers and plugs i started with. (Just recently started, only on a 2mm tunnel for size reference)

I bought this set because I had taken my gauges out years ago and wanted to get back to being able to wear my gauges, but didn’t know what size the holes had shrunken to. The gauges themselves are great, even have some heft with the weight to help stretch your ears. My one and only complaint is that they really don’t seem to be thick enough for your ears the bigger you go. Once I got to the 00 I couldn’t wear the plugs any more because they weren’t thick enough for my lobes. Otherwise, a great set and highly recommend anyone who is looking at gauging, especially if all they need are the tapers.

I decided on this kit after reading reviews on other kits saying they had sharp pieces. This kit absolutely does not have sharp pieces! It’s very good quality without spending a fortune and the plugs are stylish enough that I don’t feel the need to put anything else in while I’m waiting to go to the next size.

These are beyond my expectations! The tapers are so little that I can wear them anytime. Super cute. Nice material. Very durable. All bags are labeled. Worth the buy

Description says tapers and plugs. Size chart and one photo show plugs, other photos show tunnels. My bad for not double checking the reviews or checking with the seller first. They're beautiful and do exactly what they need to, wanted plugs got tunnels.
